The place is on the douche side of things crowd-wise, but StoneWerks over in '09 where WaterStreet Oyster Bar used to be has one of the best Philly Cheesesteaks I've had in this state.

Buddy of mine got one the other day and I was stunned at how good it was.

Yeah Douche level is pretty high in the area but not bad during lunch.  Pretty chill location.  I'll have to check out stonework cheesesteak next time I'm there which is not often. Little above my pay grade. Not rolling in tree fiddly coins if you know what I mean

This. I never bother with that stuff and it always turns out great - you just need to fine tune your grill and timing.  3-4 years ago figured out for myself how important it was to let the meat come to room temp before putting on the grill and it makes a world of difference.  Just got get my gas grill up to 80-90% max heat and then 7 minutes on the grill turning halfway. voila perfect.

On the other hand I have a friend that does sous vide and while I can confirm its great, it takes like 2 hours for him to cook a steak. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I got my grill game down pat. Just want to try something different and expand my skills.

Going to try and reverse sear some steaks this weekend.  I would appreciate some pointers. What oven temperature? At what temperature do I pull them to sear? This is the first time to try it.  Looking for medium rare and medium temp. Many thanks in advance.

Just to throw out a little more info. Going to cook ribeyes and filets.

  4. Late to the party but you can spend 3 days at Custer state park and still feel like it is not enough.  Did a road trip with the whole fam damily and my kids still talk about how awesome that was. This was back in 2017 when they were 11 and 8.

How’s that Topo Chico Seltzer? Love me some Topo Chico, but haven’t found a hard seltzer I really like. Couple that are okay but nothing great. Hoping the Topo one is
