I’d head south and look at 2M.  but @CoachTex is the resident San Antonio expert. perhaps he will provide assistance.

Well I make my own at the house and San Antonio is a bbq desert.  The 1 spot I like is on the other side of town in the Helotes area.  About a 30 to 45 minute drive.  B-Daddy's. Pretty damn good. Haven't tried 2M or Pinkerton's. Bill Miller's is shit for bbq. Think McDonald's of bbq. Heard good stuff about big bib bbq in that area. 104 Lanark Dr, San Antonio, TX 78218 but can't vouch for them. Bbq station also had some good stuff 20 years ago but not sure now.

My white hot hatred of all things Okie precludes me from ever living in Dallas. I don't know how anyone could live that close to all those dirty fucking Okies.

This is why I call Dallas Baja Oklahoma.

  3. I have a question as I am a newbie to this. Taking the trailer out once a month. The rest of the time it sit on a pad next to our driveway not pluggedin.  It will sit about 5 weeks max between pulls. So should I drain the water out of everything between pulls? Should a roof vent be left open when sitting on the pad? When sitting should main breaker be off or on?  When y'all pull is the electric cut off open or closed. Just wanted advise from the more experienced pullers here.  I appreciate it.

  4. Not sure where to put this question but here goes. I'm trying to find a swing coach for my son. He will be a freshman in high school next year. Want to get him a few lessons over the summer to prepare him for high school golf. We are in the San Antonio area and trying to do this on a teacher's salary. Any suggestions are appreciated.

That entire shoreline is great, but Spauldings Bight it one of my favorite places to be.  There are too many people that run over you now (it got much worse wrt people, but much better fishing, after Cedar Bayou was re-opened), but I've pulled some really nice tournament bags out of that little area.  Anywhere from Deadmans pocket to Carlos and you can crush them.  But, deep down in my heart, is the bight.  Where I caught my first 28"+ sow too, 20+ years ago.

    Dang right.

Awesome.  That's one of the first few we want to hit when we get it off the lease.  One of the finest spots on earth is exactly 6.25 miles from where you are parked.

Where is this finest spot you speak of? 🤔
