He does appear to have more self awareness than Sidney and his partner CTJ. Very strong management of roster deficiencies and great in recruiting. Strong CEO presence and if he was launching a company to go public I would buy at this point. This year I think performance will exceed pro forma so I bought in. My apprehension after transferring funds for investment is how will he deal with real time unanticipated events game day? I’m optimistic I’m getting 10 plus wins return on investment maybe 11 regular season.
As much as I enjoy finance analogies, I’m not sure you’re using “pro forma” properly here. Pro forma is used to describe a set of financial statements that are disclosed using some underlying assumptions (usually because they deviate from GAAP accounting) or to indicate restatement of financials due to a merger/asset disposal.
If you’re saying you think they’ll exceed some sort of projection, then using pro forma in that statement implies you think they’ll exceed your own projection (which is circular). Exceeding consensus expectations is probably more appropriate in that context.

During the media session Tommy Rees confirms that they will be running bama's existing offensive system -- so Rees had to learn the bama offense.
Makes sense why Ty Simpson is currently ahead since he's already had a year learning the Bama offensive system...
See 3:44 mark
I think coordinators are generally referring to learning and using terminology/concepts that are pre-existing vs. the actual scheme when they say they came in and learned the system.

Yes, that would be nice.
Make that happen here, and change the (football) world.
Would be absolutely gangsta if both of them committed at midnight

Bitch at me all you want for some football morons coming here, but how the fuck are you posting in the recruiting thread without knowing who the the number one recruit on our board is. Fuck you and go fuckyourself. Failures.
I see we’ve gotten to the part of the off-season where some shithead from tiger droppings or wherever else realizes he has nothing really going on

Don't worry we don't have any plays designed to exploit this fact. Nor a line that can block long enough for anybody to go deep. Nor a QB that can get him the ball. So, other that than, you should be scared.
Considering Brenen Thompson exists, odds are you’re wrong.

At least the Herbstreit will have something to talk about during the game.
Well when you’re taking a thirty percent cut on an NIL fund on top of already bamboozling your audience, I’d be j chilling too

Impossible to discuss without knowing the type/grade.
If grade I, you can be healed in 1-2 weeks, up to six weeks if it’s bad

I took my 3 little boys to the Kansas game last year to give them the suite experience and a Texas experience in which they were sure to see a win. While leaving at halftime with the score 14-35, they tried to stamp us.
I said, “why do you need to stamp us?” To which they responded “so you can get back in.”
My response: “Oh, I think we’ve seen enough, thanks. “
Anyway, good luck with the game and your kiddos.
Taking my baby cousins to the Alabama game. We might lay a fat egg but I figure the environment itself might get them invested.

Think this is the third time VB has come up in a good way lately. Interesting given people seemed pretty low on him the last couple of years.

So are we going to cover the spread against Houston Skyline or nah?
Considering we are 0-5 against the spread vs. Kansas with two outright losses in the last five games, probably not

….did you choose to do it 3 more years?
Are you really doubting CTJ’s ability to bang for bed every night for three years straight?

I have to remind myself that for some of you, coming into this thread to talk about stupid fuck shit, is the highlight of the day in your sad little lives.
This comment is hilarious because, given how many times you drop into a thread to puke some expletive laden presumptuous comment on how everyone else is a degenerate, it is clear that you suffer from a similar need

Lol I feel like this is shitty either way… they ruined this kid’s moment just for clout or they are gonna be wrong and look like dumbasses

Heard Roach say on a podcast that NIL really matters to Baker and that Baker was at one point even asking reporters to pay him for interviews.
He also said that of all the schools that are doing NIL, Texas and Tennessee have the best reputation for actually following through on commitments and that he’s seen a lot of NIL agents push their clients/kids towards those two schools because of it. Not a bad trend to be a part of.
