Every time I see a “FONG BOMB” post, I imagine Steve standing up from his porcelain throne, looking down at what he has done and smirking about another Fong Bomb he has left behind

I thought Purdue lost a ton of talent. Surprising to see them so high on that list.
i looked at On3s list. For Purdue, they had 48 transfer in and 56 transfer out. Thats redonk

So one of Nahlin and Ketchum is about to be tossed out on his ass as they’ll merge sites eventually. Either that, or, and this is quite disturbing, they join forces to become the biggest blowhard, fake insider recruiting board on the planet.
Nothing could possibly go wrong when those 2 streams cross

I read that Rashada has been enrolled in 8 combined high schools and colleges. He must be going for some kind of record.
Got a couple more in him I suspect

18/5/2 at Cal this last year on 42/32/82 splits. Up from 7/3.5/1 at Stanford his freshman year on 41/32/58 splits.
He's a nice player who has to learn how not to be a ball hog and shoot every time the ball hits his hands. When he is on, he can go for 37, when he's off he'll shoot 4-23 and grind out 15 points because he is a good free throw shooter who draws contact.
He was originally going to stay at Cal but the money that guys are getting this off season is redonk. Illinois lured him into the portal but he has a host of blue bloods negotiating with him now.

He is very fast for the position

Johntay at BYU would be off the charts comedy. Over/under of his length of stay if he was there would be 3.5 hours before he got kicked out

Avi is an ok guy in real life but he is a shit stirrer of the first order online. All of those guys leaving werent a massive surprise for a variety of reasons except the top 2 Rbs and Ott was not that big of a shock either. Cal fired its whole offensive staff and brought in Harsin and others who expect hard work and toughness. Cal's culture on offense was Charmin squeezable soft. Mendoza was already all but gone for a variety of reasons as was the top receiver who didn't like to play school and Nebraska doesnt care about that. The WR coach left and took one guy with him. Another is from DFW and transferred to OU to be closer to home. Endries was always going to get paid somewhere. Everyone else was buried on the depth chart except the top 2 RBs who are fitting the "we are massive pussies who dont like it when coach yells at us" stereotype to a T.

OU and Indiana might have underestimated UT's dry powder and need for a TE coming out of the winter.
Indiana is where I would have guessed he was headed since he and Mendoza are besties but if it’s Texas it’s a phenomenal get. I haven’t ever thought about it before but at first glance, I think he’s better than Helm. Will be interesting to see if that is true

FWIW, on the Cal insider board “Texas is giving Endries a giant bag, he’s going there”.

He underwhelmed last year. Demarco Murray isn’t someone that will coach that greatness back into you.
Tatum is another 5 star that went to OU and busted. It’s becoming hilarious.
He added weight last year to get tougher. He lost a half step and got a severe high ankle sprain in the first half of game 1 and with Cal’s OL softer than wet dogshit, he had a terrible year. This year, he dropped the 10 extra lbs and he was “back” to his old self. Explosive and with the new OL and vastly improved OL coaching, he looked like he could have a big bounce back year. But going to BlowU? Smh
he is a plus pass protection blocker and if he isnt the best pass catching rb in the nation, he is up there. His running style is very patient, he waits for holes to develop and when they do, he hits the gap hard. The question is, does Okie have an OL that will match his style? I’m not super optimistic for him. A really puzzling choice but I guess he clicked with Murray after his old RB coach left Cal and he needs that mentorship. Or something. He probably regrets turning down almost 7 figures from Georgia last year and thinks Oklahoma somehow makes him a better pro prospect cause he definitely left some money on the table in Berkeley to go to Norman. Whatever…

It is, he had a phenomenal spring by all accounts and seemed to be back to his 2023 form.

Mendoza was his roommate so Indiana is a possibility. Cal is still working on him and his parents and family have been heavily invested in the team/family culture and activities (he is local to Cal, HS was like 30 minutes away). All that said, if Texas or Alabama really want him, he would be well served for development and future NFL draft positioning to look their way. We'll see.

Bobby tonight said that there is a big booster revolt and they will not give any NIL until Ron Rivera is given full player personal authority over Wilcox.
Kinda sorta true but not really. Yes, a couple of the big names are saying they won’t put more money in til Wilcox reports to Rivera but it’s dicey Cal politics at play and Rivera gets to do what he wants supposedly. The AD is going to be fired for cause but because of a lawsuit by the former women’s swimming coach (Teri McKeever), they can’t shitcan the AD yet because of liability. So it’s all fucked. There is money in the collective though… it ain’t Texas money but they will be bringing in another half dozen guys and if Ott and Endries leave, they’ll have a couple million to spread around. Ott is the highest earner…

This one is pissing a lot of Cal people off. Supposedly, a team (BlowU?) was tampering and he renegotiated a significant pay raise as a result last week. Fine. Now, a team (same?) is in his ear about stagnation blah blah… and he portals. This despite Cal completely reworking their OL and their entire offense to feature him next season and he pulls this shit. Good fucking player but at some point, if the early whispers are accurate, you gotta pull the plug. Good luck, Jadyn. Sounds like the Cal coaches are trying to talk him off the ledge but I’m whatevs about it all

He is a first down machine. Great hands. Tough as nails catching the ball in traffic. And that TD against Miami, they measured him at 20.8 mph or something. He outran the Miami DB. Dude is really good

Cal TE Jack Endries to the portal. 56 receptions last season for 623 yards.
He’s a fuck beast. Decent blocker but one of the best pass catching TEs in the nation. Really fast for the position too
