My distance vision remains very good. But I can't read shit from shinola up close. I have readers stashed all over the place.
Thanks Lat. Sounds like a lot of 50 somethings around here.

Yearly bonus from the Duke brothers?

CDC is going to have to replace baseball and basketball. This season is looking like a carbon copy of last year.

Mizzou with a walk off ground rule double in the 10th. OU still sucks.

lsu has 5 players from Texas, 4 of which are pitchers, and 1 catcher.
Beloso is also from Texas. Was a Richmond kid that moved over to LA with Ripoll to play high school ball starting their junior year

Can you get much more insipidly sanctimonious than to essentially proclaim oneself as a better American than another because you didn’t attend a highly respected educational institution or to question one’s patriotism based on the fact they attended extremely competitive institutions?
As for Gohmert’s comment, it was what it was. Not to many trained legal minds consider federal legislation to be “low level.” Not sure if considering not federal statues to be “low level” makes me a hard-core liberal or a right-wing nut job, but I’m sure I’m about to find out.
By the way, how long is mocking aggy politicians for acting like aggys going to remain unapproved speech?
Keep fucking that chicken

Texas State 9, Rice 2
Rice is now 0-7.
They should have hired Berkman

WEST
Washington, Oregon, Cal, UCLA, USC, Arizona, ASU
EAST
Texas, TT, OU, OSU, Colorado, Kansas, Utah
14 teams and you lock up all the major TV markets west of the Mississippi and cover 3 time zones. SC gives you the 1 private school that every conference needs.

Y'all are going to hate it when they remake "Stripes" with Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy.
Thought Stripes was the male remake of Private Benjamin

He finished with 101.
CG in February is impressive but, I am not a big of that number this early. They will need his arm for the whole season.

As a newly transplanted texan in Colorado, please don’t do this. I dont want to listen to sound clips from Bielema ad nauseum on sports radio.
They only talk about the fucking broncos 24/7 up there

What's the altitude at Boulder? That thin air might literally kill him.
CU should hire him and buy a huge life policy and solve the money issues going forward.

Holy shit, dickmunching looch is on that ketch diet. He needs to get back to the yeyo diet because he obviously has not portion control. Reminds me of Cartman the weight gain 4000.
Looks like Kent Dorfman with chin pubes

Worse.
Lots of Texas high school kids on your roster from when your team was great.
Some people on this board know some of them. We know what happened on the recruiting trips.
It's not what you know, It's what you can prove. We have never been popped like aggy and OU with TV bans etc.

Maybe not now, but back in the day, with your holy roller coach, CU was dirty as all hell.
We might have been dirty if you apply every little ncaa rule but we were never dirty like OU and the SEC.

Now that I'm retired, my doc has seen fit to ween me off my meds (which allowed me to function for decades as a thinking, feeling human being dealing with work-related stress). So, last night was a bad night and I am not close to being on top of my game. However, I >am< in the game and share this link detailing CU's violations from 1959 - 1961 which led to the firing of CU head coach, Sonny Grandelius. News accounts at the time claimed that Grandelius was the first coach in the country fired for recruiting improprieties.
https://web3.ncaa.org/lsdbi/search/miCaseView/report?id=102258
Before I was born but I do remember reading about that years ago. All of the other violations were pretty much small time and I doubt the ncaa would have popped OU, Nebraska or ohio state for the same thing. Hell, it took guns, drugs and swords for the ncaa to go after switzer.

yeah, I think it was more about establishing a proto-Baylor kind of culture where you guys brought in antisocial reprobates and then did everything possible to keep them academically eligible and out of jail
there was the famous and prescient quote from one of your players in 1984 that "we got enough choirboys, we need some football players". at least that's how I think he described it, maybe he used something even more euphemistic
Need some thugs to win. Never had the rape culture of baylor and, Mac would suspend guys if they got in trouble.

It will be funny if both our daughters end up at Trinity. Mine got a pretty big $ award, which brings the cost down from "holy fuck" to "minor 2nd mortgage".
She may try CAP at UTSA as well, which is non-binding. Still waiting on total scholarship from UMinn and UOregon. Boulder wasn't worth it, their final net cost was well above what we've already seen from the Pac-12 and Big-10 schools. Apparently Boulder is not fond of being cost-competitive. (That's an actual perspective I've heard from a half dozen UC parents.)
We are also trying to leverage UT Butler School of Music as an end-around. Sort of the "athlete" approach (except she's not an athlete). It may work.
CU needs the out of state money as the state does not pay shit

Unless Colorado is going to go back to buying Texas high school players, like they did in the 80s and early 90s, they will never matter again in college football.
We have never had the money/boosters to buy players.
