ESPN's multiple cable channels all need 24-7 content, which is the problem. They have all those channels to broadcast multiple live events, but with streaming it's not really necessary anymore. They really only need the main ESPN network, with daytime programming of high quality, and maybe keep ESPN News playing Sportscenter and other purely sports news programs around the clock. Live events can all be live streamed. 90% of the college baseball and softball  tournament have been live streamed.I never had a problem logging in and watching the games.

Can you stream 5 games on 5 TVs at the same time?

I'm in this boat right now. My son is currently the 11th man on a roster of 11. I'm sort of one of the coaches. I was one of the coaches last year and this year I'm in the dugout and helping every bit as much as the 2 previous years, but my input is largely ignored as 3 of the 5 coaches have sort of become the decision-makers.

Saturday - 2 pool play games for seeding - we batted 10 in both games. He was not in either lineup. He did get 1 inning in RF (caught the only fly ball hit to him and threw home to prevent the tag) and 1 PA (HBP after a couple of foul balls).

Sunday - 2 bracket games (1st round bye) - we batted 10 in the semifinal and 9 in the championship game. He didn't enter either game.

So we did baseball from 7:30 am - 2:00 pm on Saturday and from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm on Sunday......for 1 PA and 1 inning in RF. It's tough right now. But the little man is committed to working hard and fighting for ABs. I'm committed to not being a moron about it all. We like the organization. I like the coaches. I value the practices and development he gets with this group. I want him to learn how to work for something he wants. The only tricky part is that the coaches may or may not reward him. Time will tell....

Time to find a new team.  Never want your kid to be the best player or the worst player on a travel team.

Nebraska is crappy flyover territory full of dumbass farmers who vote for Trump and deny climate change.  Did I miss anything?

I added wrong earlier- he had 31 xbh...so twice our leaders.

Texas and SHSU had a bunch of common opponents, including each other...so I checked that theory. Here are his stats vs common opponents

VS Texas-  2-4, all 3 of their RBI

    VS Baylor 4-8

VS TCU 2-2 (game got fogged out with SHSU up 10-2 in the 2nd so may not be included in official stats)

    VS Rice 2-6

    VS UIW- 4-12

    VS ULL 7-12

    VS Lamar 4-10

    VS CC Aggy 7-14

    VS Aggy 1-4

    Here are his stats against some other P5 programs;

    VS Arizona 2-7

    VS Miss St 2-4

    VS Nebraska 1-3

    total- 38- 86  .442

his overall average was .368 so he hit far better against our common opponents/ other P5 of note than he did against the rest of their schedule

Did he play with Dru Baker on the Barracudas?  Take a look at what Baker has done at Tech as a freshman.

I'm already thinking of next year. Line up?

    C - Petrinsky and Peter
    1B - Son of Bertel
    2B - Ford
    SS - Hamilton?
3B - Reynolds back for another encore?
    OF - Kennedy/Ellis/?
    DH - Zubia?

    Any incoming hitters?

    SP - Elder/Madden/Cobb/Whelan
RP - Quintanilla/Diaz/Stevens/Bryant/Neely/Meaney/Fields/LHPs to be named later

Kennedy, Ford and Hamilton should be the only guys that are guaranteed.  Every other spot should be open with current roster and incoming freshman battling it out for the remaining 6 positions.

WTF - you carry actual cash money? and enough of it that you have to sort it.....this must have turned into the this is how I know you are an old thread.

I typically carry 1 bill, either a 10 or a 20, I use a money clip and if I need to use it the change takes me about a week to spend.

You use a money clip for 1 bill?
