Yeah I get that. I’m not really the flamboyant type, so your first paragraph is where I stay.

These are the details I was looking for.

I found it worth noting that the real money in the room wear the same two-tone Datejust (you know the one) while the younger guys (both execs and not) were wearing 3-4x the watch. Suits were the same, it was the wrist wear that was over the top, at least with the 40-ish yo guys.

Well, there’s one thing about Thor’s style that I like.

Datejust two-tone is the #1 with the yellow gold day-date running a close second with the old school crowd going back to the late 70's

I recall from the watch fanatic thread that @G650 was supposed to start a thread and teach us to dress properly...

Good luck with that!  Savile Row for suits and Vacheron Constantin for your timepiece and I would assume that he gets his shoes made at John Lobb.

much nicer town, way more weed, way better beer, and a stajium that is pretty kick ass instead of just ass (my dude)

same meh coeds though because Colorado (the state) struggles in the pretty female department like much of aggy does

Talking about their students and alums.  Fort Collins is a nice town but Boulder is better.

Dobbins' stats are better than Ingram's. Not a huge accomplishment, since Ingram's stats were pedestrian by Heisman standards and he shouldn't have won (ESPN openly campaigning in his favour is what got him the award).

that being said, Bush's 2005 season blows both of theirs out of the water. 1,740 rushing yards at an 8.7 ypc clip, with an extra 500 receiving yards, is flat-out absurd even by today's standards.

and Barry Sanders blows Bush out of the water

For me, primarily a Pitt fan, I've been pissed since Hugh Green did not win the Heisman, rather George Rogers won. Green had 460 tackles, 53 sacks, 24 forced fumbles and 22 passes defended in his four years at Pitt. In 1980 Green had 123 tackles, 77 were solo, 17 sacks, 7 forced fumbles/4 recovered, six passes broken up and 17 QB hurries in 12 games.

Chase Young, who has been fantastic at times, has 44 tackles, 31 are solo, 16.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles & 3 passes broken up in 10 games.

Throw in Larry Fitzgerald not winning, Crappy Jason White won, and the award, to me, is crap.

Green was a beast.  He was the best player in college that year.

His dad coached under Gordon Wood, waaaay more credible than Bob Shipley. One of if not the greatest Texas high school coaches of all time.

I enjoyed his research on page 98 in Work in Essex County.

Texas should begin incorporating the color Gray into it's football uniforms.  The baseball and basketball teams already do, and I believe Gray and Burnt Orange look damn good together.

I think we all agree Black on the uniform would be an abomination, but a touch of Gray here and there would look dope as fuck IMHO.

    Discuss.

All baseball teams wear gray on the road.

Do not fuck with the uniforms.

Which AD was responsible for Helton's buyout?

I'm kinda enjoying this for two reasons.  First, it's nice to see another blue blood suffer like we've been suffering. Second, my daughter's college soccer coach is a USC guy, and let's say he's "annoying," as in he's completely oblivious to the fact that any other school has a tradition in football.
