I never knew where people in college got recruiting info from. I would be having a beer with someone that would tell me about Corey Redding or Nathan Vasher and where they went to high school and I just pretended to know what the fuck they were talking about. I used my precious dial up Internet time in my apartment to download music on napster and look at pictures of naked women. Everything I learned about the team I learned from reading the Daily Texas on the bus ride to school.

Suffice it to say, Cook is our best WR recruit in a while. Cook, Neyor, Moore and Cain are backups. Just looking through other Big 12 rosters and I cannot see another team with anything even close to our talent.

Definitely not buying into the off-season koolaid (yet) until I see at least some improvement in the WR room and DL with my own eyes. Hopefully we see something at the spring game.
It is nice to see some good news at RB and Quinn taking the off-season seriously. Been burned too many times by the 9.95ers to buy into the hype. Show me.
It’s your brain, not your eyes that you need to use. You don’t think AD Mitchell and a healthy Neyor make the WR position better? Or the best WR recruit (who enrolled early) we have signed since I don’t know when will not improve that position? If you want to be skeptical of 9.95’ers pumping up players that just a few months ago were going to be processed from the program, fine. But that doesn’t mean you need to turn your brain off to the obvious with regards to the WR position.-

I cannot believe the 9.95’ers write about Crawford and Gbenda suddenly getting it and playing like quality starters. Actually, I can. What I cannot believe is that there are still people who fall for that shit every year. You watch DeSaun Hales is going to shred up Big 12 secondaries this year!

NSIAP: Savion Red has been working out. Holy crap.
Red looks nothing like a receiver. The snaps are there for the taking if he wants it. But wasn’t he the one that lost his shit on the sideline last year and almost fought a coach during a game? Or am I thinking of someone else. -

Man I hope K.Crawford can take a step forward. I'd love to be able to get/keep that kind of athlete on the field
I’m very skeptical of the Crawford koolaid. The guy was totally lost in addition to playing with poor effort the last time we saw him play. Now all of the sudden it all came together? I just take that as.peak 9.95 offseason bullshit and I expect him to be processed.-

Indeed. Austin and College Station to much higher degree are in the 'suck weather' of the SEC. You realize where the SEC is located, right?
Sorry, I don't see that horseshit as being the 'better weather' conference. Even at that, it's practically meaningless in the overall equation. The cash is all that matters.
Keep telling yourself that when you go to a game in Evanston in late November. -

This is possibly the most remarkable piece of prose ever written in the English language. The highlights:
- A a 52-word run-on sentence comprising the entire first paragraph, with no punctuation save for one lonely apostrophe.
- Another 32-word run-on sentence.
- Random first-letter capitals.
- Sentences with no verbs.
- Sentences with no subjects.
- Sentences with no clear verbs or subjects.
- Misspelled words.
- Odd porn reference.
- Odd violence reference.
- Missing apostrophes.
- Missing ending punctuation.
- Misogynism.
- Homophobia.
And the hidden gem: " a salt and battery."
“A salt and battery” is the easy tell that this is a Surly troll. Whoever did this needs to be more subtle next time.-

In fairness, as a Texas fan I cannot wait for the LHN to end. I could not see the game either. -

RGBIII used your donation for entry, fyi. In any event, Dallas can blow me.
He better have represented my spot properly by sporting a white powder mustache with two non English speaking Eastern European escorts by his side.-

Hey fuck off for taking shots at people from Dallas. I bought a few tickets and did not even get to go but am perfectly happy supporting NIL efforts. Although I haven’t lived in the Dallas area in over 25 years I take offense at the notion that we all have frosted tip hair and drive a BMW 3 series. That’s only *most* of the people from Dallas.

I am double booked today so I will not be able to make it. The most important thing is my financial support anyway and not my charming personality.

Throw our weight around. That has to be a Surly troll. The league accepted Texas and OU in behind their backs.

What I think should happen:
9 conference games.
4 pods of 4 (i.e Texas OUsucks Ole Miss Miss St just as an example). So you play everyone in your pod every year. That's 3 conference games.
3 permanent crossovers from the other pods. That's another 3 games.
That leaves 9 other conference teams that can rotate 3 at a time every 2 years.
As an example:
Pod 1 (Permanent Crossovers)
Texas: (A&M, Arkansas, Florida)
OUsucks (Missouri, Vandy, Georgia)
Ole Miss (Tennessee, Bama, South Carolina)
Miss St (LSU, Auburn, Kentucky)
Pod 2 (Permanent Crossovers)
A&M (Texas, Auburn, South Carolina)
Arkansas (Texas, Bama, Kentucky)
LSU (Miss St, Tennessee, Florida)
Missouri (OUsucks, Vandy, Georgia)
Pod 3 (Permanent Crossovers)
Alabama (Ole Miss, Arkansas, Kentucky)
Auburn (Miss St, A&M, Georgia)
Tennessee (Ole Miss, LSU, Florida)
Vandy (OUsucks, Missouri, South Carolina)
Pod 4 (Permanent Crossovers)
Florida (Texas, LSU, Tennessee)
Georgia (OUsucks, Missouri, Auburn)
South Carolina (Ole Miss, A&M, Vandy)
Kentucky (Miss St, Arkansas, Bama)
In this model, we would play our pod (OUsucks, OM, Miss St) every year. We would also play 3 permanent crossovers (aggy, Arkansas, Florida). Then all of the other teams rotate every 2 years (year 1-2 LSU, Missouri, Vandy. Year 3-4 Alabama, Auburn, SC. Year 5-6 Tennessee, UGA, Kentucky. Lather rinse repeat )

Just wait til the players unionize.
Hoo boy.
The only players that could unionize would be the athletes in the revenue generating sports which would, ironically create more inequality in college athlete pay. -
That was the biggest fucking gaping vagina call of the season. 3rd and 5 from the 40 is two down territory. Always. Fuck this fat fucking retard faggor.

Am I the only one not immediately writing AD starting in ink? The dude has like 600 career yards, only 20 ypg the last three games of this season. I won't be surprised if Neyor starts over him.
Also don't think Holmes is likely to start. He'd have to beat Brooks (and MM).
With that said, yes these 4 portal takes do seem very good.
You are over thinking this. AD is one of the three best receivers the minute he steps on campus.-

What was the final count of number of players they lost from graduation/transfer vs the number of players signed in the 23 class and transfer portals? How many players are they net losing? That depth chart on defense is lol funny.
