Because we all know women don’t know Their bodies, can’t understand biology, and certainly are unable to certainly unable to count down from 500

So you think women say to themselves “Oh my, I am getting my 137th period this week!  According to YGIFS only 363 times left after that to really make it count.  When I get to 350 I really need to think about trying to find a man to procreate with!”

I'm not slow, no. That said, the Dunning Kruger Effect is certainly shining brightly in this exchange.

No one is asking for "proof", just that you make even a vague attempt to support your position. You can cite facts in the form of player and coaching roles that offer up reasons for your optimism regarding "much improved". Or offer informed opinions about the team's outlook. Instead, you've chosen to take the tact of being overly literal and tedious as a means of hoping the rest of us fail to notice that you don't know a fucking thing about the subject matter in which you keep inserting your witless and vapid comments.

Thanks for the Dunning Kruger Effect reference, I was unaware of the term and concept.   It was an interesting item to read up on.   Thanks!

Note:  Not weighing in on whether the reference was applied correctly, just that I appreciate being prompted to learn about it.

"I'm kinda with aggy on this.  Let's swap the aggy game to early October, SEPTEMBER"

That is the month when they play the powerhouse like, Austin School for the Blind, and Alaska Tech among others, never gonna happen.

this would make the aggy roller coaster more of an aggy sine wave.

    For y’all dishwasher loading fanatics.

American Households Are Divided Over How to Load the Dishwasher
    WSJ April 16, 2024

Nina and Stephen Edwards have been on the same page for most things in their 25-year marriage: what to have for dinner, where to vacation, where to set the thermostat in their New York City home. But there is one thing they can’t agree on: how best to load the dishwasher.

A majority of Americans (65%) agree there’s a “right and a wrong way” to load a dishwasher, according to data from YouGov Omnibus. Another poll said the average American household has 18 arguments a month over dishes, from leaving them in the sink to who should empty the dishwasher.

    Etc.

WSJ - Printing American Households Are Divided Over How to Load the Dishwasher.pdf 110.63 kB · 2 downloads

My wife and I have gotten into this argument with her claiming there is not right or wrong way.  Now my way gets all the dishes in and arranged so they will get cleaned and sanitized, and hers leaves dishes in the sink for a later load/wash.

But she is correct, there is not a "Correct" way to load the dishwasher...but there certainly is a more efficient way.

My analogy was that we were driving somewhere and my route got us there in 20 minutes and missed most stop lights and signs, while a second path went through construction, stop lights, and took 40 minutes.  Now neither of these is the "correct" or "right" route to take....but based on certain criteria one is certainly more efficient.

So I obviously did not want sex for a while and I do all the dishes.

Moving someone down is effectively moving someone else up. It doesn't mean that he's taking money from the patients moving up, but rather he thinks they are better candidates. I'm sure that doctors can believe they are smarter than the predetermined rules (and they may be right) but its dangerous to act on that belief.

I'm curious if this is something of his motive, where he adjusted it to move patients with a better chance of success and lower mortality outcomes up the list, and consequently avoiding those with statistically a lower chance of success.  This would make him "more successful" in conducting these types of operations and likely make him "more successful" than his peer group.  Doctors ego's and whatnot.

The wife of a Texas judge has been charged with murder after allegedly fatally shooting her nephew.

Mei Huang Wolfe, the 48-year-old wife of Harris County Justice of the Peace Bob Wolfe, was arrested and charged with murder on April 5, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared on X (formerly Twitter).

The fatal shooting happened at the Wolfes' home on April 4 around 10 p.m., a spokesperson for the Harris County Sheriff's Office revealed to People.

Officers responded to the scene after Bob called 911 to alert authorities that his wife had shot his nephew during a dispute, police said. Medical personnel attempted to treat the nephew, identified by police as 40-year-old James Wolfe II, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bob was home when the incident occurred, along with the nephew and Mei Huang's adult daughter, police confirmed to ABC affiliate KTRK-TV. According to the sheriff's office, the argument was part of "ongoing feud" between the nephew and Mei Huang while both of them lived in the house.

"The ongoing issues between the two concluded this evening after the suspect retrieved a weapon and pointed it at the complainant and fired one shot striking him in the upper torso," police told People in a statement. "Her husband had attempted to stop her and to get the gun away from her but was unsuccessful."

Shortly after James' death, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez used preliminary information to determine that the dispute had occurred because Mei Huang felt he had overstayed his welcome in her and Bob's home.

"It may have been a situation where the female homeowner felt that he wasn't welcome anymore and a disturbance broke out over that," the sheriff said, according to CBS affiliate KHOU.

This lucky bastard got rid of his mooching house guest and crazy wife all in one night.

Mine too. I offered to but her nicer purses (Kate Spade, Coach) for gifts but she says she won't spend more than $20 for a purse. And she buys one once every 2 or 3 years. But shoes are a different story. She doesn't buy anything expensive but she has more than she can ever wear. 2 hanging racks in her closet and a 3 layer shoe shelf next to the bed. I have 2 pair of dress shoes, a pair of steel toed boots, 1 pair of hiking boots and 2 pair of tennis shoes. Newest purchase was a couple of years ago.

On another note, we had our 41st anniversary last week. I bought her roses and offered to take her out to dinner and go look for a gift. She said she wanted to stay home because there were TV 2 shows she wanted to watch. So she watched her shows and FB videos. She never got out of her chair that evening, so I handed her a card while she watched TV. I never got her a gift but she got me a hoe. And not the fun kind. Who says romance is dead?

Sounds like that was the only Ho you interacted with that night.
