What’s the highest degree you’ve earned, my man? 😁

Sorry you couldn’t understand that long post I made with my take on Brock’s recent play. I’ll try to write at a lower grade level next time!

If only degrees made people smart! Brock will soon match you on degrees and you guys can hang out at your faculty lounge at whatever directional university you work at.

Jabbar should starts just based on that clip alone. He tracked one of the fastest WRs step for step and then turned his head around as soon as Worthy did and broke up the pass. I haven't seen such beautiful all-around technique in the forty acres in a long time. It's almost masterbate worthy!

Agree on the technique and no doubt Muhammad is a good corner, but not sure how much play time Worthy would have gotten if that was simply a regular season game. He certainly didn't have his usual shake, bake and go on that play.

Worthy possibly playing hurt doesn't take away from Jabbar's technique though. Wish our corners would learn to play like that.

  4. In addition to the buyout perhaps not being fully guaranteed, I would think that there is an offset clause if he gets another job. He could also be reassigned within the program like what we did with Mack. If CDC is serious about winning and not the optics, getting rid of RT at the end of the season shouldn't be too difficult.

What you root for doesn’t matter.

This team sucks in every way imaginable, and will cause

I know what you mean but I am not sure what I rather see happen. Might as well endure the short-term pain if it means a change for the good is imminent.

CDC getting more reasons to make a change. Not a good look for a HC

This job is too big for RT just like it was for Herman. As the head coach, you can't stoop to their level.

Can one of the other coaches on the staff go off on the team, record it, then leak the video to make me think they actually care?

Watching Frank Haith's body language during the last game made me think he was clueless and didn't give a shit.

Learn what lesson, not to listen to the media, social media, or do gooders? I am a casual, but my recollection of this board in March was 25% actually wanting to keep Terry, 50% didn’t but said you can’t not bring him back due to how we finished, and 25% said hell no. Similar split opinions on if Beard should’ve been fired vs. suspended. We “had to” fire Beard who was free to walk into Ole Miss with zero shit given by media about it, and we get stuck with Terry. Lose lose because we “did the right thing.”

Doing the "right thing" doesn't take you very far in college athletics. Look who just won the CFP and the teams in the last decade. Doing the right thing only ensures mediocrity. You have to be able to take whatever criticism comes your way to make sure you do what's needed to win.

  9. Other than UK, KU, UNC and Duke, I think we can beat out any program when it comes to hiring the basketball HC. Instead we chose to settle for someone who no other top program would have wanted. Hope CDC learns from this mistake going forward.

All I said was let the season play out instead of being a pussy about one bad loss

Perhaps it's time to consider that you might be the pussy here with your insistence on hiring RT last year and now doubling down when he turns out to be what most rational people expected him to be. This is the position I would also expect TJ Ford and others to take who wanted RT to be our HC. For some people, especially if you are in a teaching profession, it's hard to admit when they are wrong. Sure we can let the season play out and the conclusion will still be the same. You can even give him 5-10 years and it will still be the same outcome.

  11. Giving Sark an extension and raise is like playing with house money. He has already earned it given his below average first contract and the amount of money the program has made this year. Even if he flames out in coming years, I think we would still be net positive on this investment. It seems unlikely that he would flame out at this point given the roster he has built and the assistants he has hired.

    Guilty.

I defended both Shaka and Charlie. Most thought it was because they are Blavk and so am I. That might have had something to do with it.

But…it came a time where I had brought and said on this board they both needed to go. And to the surprise of some people here, I was never advocating for RT because I knew his background as a HC.

I don't blame you for supporting those guys and wanting to see them succeed, if you're black. We all have our biases that affect our decision making and thought process without having any malicious intent. I believe TJ probably similar motivation. All players, current or former, have biased intent for wanting a coach to be hired. Fans on the other hand are only driven by wanting to hire someone who we think could win. We may get it wrong but we have usually have the most unbiased opinion.

  13. Shaka also had his defenders on this board even after he sucked the life out of this program. It's a bizarre fan behavior that I can never understand. One coach (Beard) was rebuilding the program after years of mediocrity under Shakablaka and another is coming off an elite eight season with many starters back and several new experienced additions in this age of NIL and portal. To equate the two situations is fucking dumb or disingenuous.
