How about that 1978 Cotton Bowl?

Just watched James Johnson's highlights and yeah, he'd be a good get. It's hard to watch linemen on the shitty high school video from 30,000 feet away, but as soon as the play starts you know exactly where he lined up because the offensive lineman nearest him is going backward.

It's good to be in a place where it doesn't really matter who the first off the bus happens to be.

There remain days over at Denius practice fields for sand work in the sand and some light hill work.
Good to know we are doing sand work in the sand. This is cutting edge stuff and the staff continues to impress.

RBs, particularly FR/Sophs who aren't starting, should also be key contributors on special teams. Miss out on a year and those positions need to be filled by someone else on the team.

Or, he’s saying it’s his last visit and the process is over with a decision to come. Right? Right?

this is an interesting phenomenon I have often pondered. I remember that when I was a teenager certain female characters in movies may not have been attractive to me at the time, but now watching the same movies they appear to me hot as shit. funny stuff.
It goes like this with standards being lowered at each age with the first real drop in mid-20s and perhaps the biggest drop coming around 40-50:
Grades 1-6: only attracted to the best of your age.
Grades 7-8: the best grade 7-8 girls
High School: the best high school girls with occasional looks at the quirky ones who will give you a blowjob
College: ages 18-22 with a little more interest in freaks
Age 23-30: 18-35 quirky/freak ratio is diminishing but standards are also being lowered as you start to squint at sevens
Ages 30-40: 18-45 any female that's a six or up is good to go
Ages 40-50: 18-55 Same as previous age, but a bigger range
Ages 50-60: 18-40 are nice to look at, but only seriously looking at 40-65 (unless rich enough to pull younger)
Ages 60-70: Lots of looking at 18-50, settling for anyone under 65 who is not yet a plus size and seems like they have the patience for Viagra to kick in.
Ages 70-80: Not sure. I'll update this post when I get there, but it seems like it'll be mostly memories by then.
Caveat: for this scale, marriage increases your age by at least 10 years.

Lol no. It’s punting a football, there’s nothing special about it. Australians added the running start (which has no inherent benefit), but really all it was was the Australians were in their late 20s vs high school aged punters. The mechanics and training were no different.
Well, there was one who was different.

Two seriously bad dudes. Winfield in particular was just a freak, especially at his size. Drafted in basketball, football and baseball, as was Colorado's Dave Logan.
Was at a Rangers game sitting along the left field line during Winfield's first year with the Yankees. A guy nearby was yelling shit at him all game and Winfield continued to ignore him. Late in the game, the guy yelled, "Dave, do you really think you're worth $1 million?" Cool as hell and without looking our way or acknowledging the guy, Winfield raises two fingers and then makes a play on the ball to end the inning. Everyone around went "ooooh" and the guy shut up after that.

The thing about moose is that most people have no idea how big they are nor how damn mean they can be. It'd be a lot easier to pick up a can of Red Bull than to drink moose piss from the tap.
And they are fearless.

Texas has 7 players in the On3 top 10 players for 2025 - the most of any team
I'm not good at math, but if Texas has 7 of the top 10, it would be hard for any other team to have more.

Is it wrong of me to think that the OKC Thunder commercial where they are all wearing the same clothes is a bit, um, effeminate?
-
Pretty cool to be able to say if you're a starter for Texas, you have a really good chance of getting drafted.

That's a fun basketball conference, Oregon State will continue to make some CWS appearances, and the PAC will have at least one bowl win over some "name" from the SEC or BIG.
