  1. Every school in the current SEC is going to see the horns and the Sooners as step children and treated as such. It might take up a decade before established conference members either as a full fledged peer.
  2. Actually closer to since 1976 excluding those 10 years under Mack. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Texas_Longhorns_football_seasons
  3. Bingo! But will the horn fans show the patience needed to follow that process? Will the president and the AD show the will and stand up against the fanbase and give Sark his 4-5 years?
  4. Could have 1 another one not would have another one. You know what assuming does to oneself.
  5. Nor did I say Wikipedia is factual just quoted what they reported. Duh! Nor did I say Wikipedia is factual just quoted what they reported. Duh! Perhaps you might find this Wikipedia quote more credible. Red River Shootout since WWII OU 39-Texas 35-3 ties. Last 7 OU 6-Texas 1, last OU 16-Texas 7. Having been attending this game since 1961 I know to relax as this series has always been about streaks and the horns time will come. Just hopefully not in my lifetime. P.S. trying to insure your happiness is part of my business. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_River_Showdown

  7. I cannot tell you how each team initially got their end of the Cotton Bowl for seating but per Wikipedia it has been optional since 2007. They state: "Beginning in 2007, the teams have option to alternate North and South ends of the field, thereby giving the home team fans the seats adjacent to the tunnel leading to both teams' locker rooms.[29] However, Texas has declined to exercise its option to move to the south end each year in which they have been the designated home team. However, former Texas coach Charlie Strong said he would favor Texas fans being in the south end zone during their home games." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_River_Showdown[
  8. What can I say the Horn fans loudly chanted a College Gameday "We want Caleb, we want Caleb" and you got what your asked for. Sometimes that bites you in the backside. I guess we will focus Spencer game toward making 2 point conversions going forward. At least until 5* QB Malachi Nelson arrives in 2023. But relax Sark is no Strong or Herman and he knows how to lead the horns for their impending entry into the SEC. Something I am not so certain Lincoln is ready for.
  9. You should be fine against the pukes a you should be capable of out scoring them. OSU is scoring only 25 points/game and averaging only about 378 yards of total offense. But their defense is very strong allowing only 18 points/game. https://okstate.com/sports/football/stats
  10. Going to that pre-snap confusion is a practice the Sooners have used on every snap this season. It is their M.O. The horns had ample time to prepare.
  11. Mims was a 4* per 247Sports and did set the Texas state record and broke the national record in receiving yards at Lone Star high school in Frisco, TX. But was not extremely highly recruited ranking only as the #29 WR nationally. Also reported to have adequate but not great speed but proven at the D-I to be an outstanding vertical receiver that averaged 16.5 yards/reception in 2020 on 37 receptions and 21.1 y/r on 19 receptions in 2021 http://soonerstats.com/football/players/game-log-receiving.cfm?seasonid=2020&playerid=3273 http://soonerstats.com/football/players/game-log-receiving.cfm?seasonid=2021&playerid=3273 https://247sports.com/player/marvin-mims-46049311/
  12. How about the coach Sark tried to hire? Mike Stoops before fan interference. Just funning don't take it personal. We couldn't fire Moops quickly enough.
  13. No question Caleb threw a couple of jump balls but Mims short history has proven time and again he wins those 50/50 passes a great preponderance of the time. And as long as he does OU will keep throwing them to him. It is what it is.
  14. Well from 2010-2021 the count is OU 10 wins and you 3 wins. But history says the pendulum always swings as the record since WWII is nip and tuck series with the Sooners 39 to Horns 35 with 3 ties. At my age (78) I might not be around when the Horns again get control of the series. I do think you got the right man in Austin after Strong and Herman were bust. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_River_Showdown
