The Longhorns rank third in the NCAA in margin of victory on the season at +25.0

One of the best aspects of WCBB is not constantly worrying every offseason that your star player is leaving early to go pro. Unless they hate school or get poor advice, the best players will stay all 4 years.
Yes. Maybe not the best for the young ladies, but for us fans that is a huge win.

really is incredible what Vic has done after losing Rory and also how great Booker is. being top 5 is a helluva a job.
The contrast between the men's and women's programs is shocking and telling. And hopefully a motivational wake-up call for the administration.
Vic is the man and Madi is the truth.

Chavez going to tech isn’t going to magically make tech better because they won’t have the pieces around her. Unless she just wants to the be hometown hero, she’d waste her career at tech.
Tech hasn't been to the tournament since 2013. Might be a factor in the decision making process.....
-
Chavez isn’t going to Tech given the trajectory of that program. She has South Carolina, OhioState, Texas, USC, UCLA and LSU on her list. She only listed Tech to keep from being run out of town.
-
Bilas: "Texas hasn't been able to run any kind of coherent offense."
Do we have one of those?

Shame KM and Baylor couldn’t work it out, they were made for each other.

Alpha Dog Madi indeed.
Madison and Jones played 25 and 24 minutes due to foul trouble. Madi made 10 for 10 on FTs and Jones scored 19 points in 24 minutes.
Moore was injured and played 2 minutes and Hadi has scompered.
Amina was making me insane last night. She got absolutely smoked on D a number of times, shot 4 for 9 on free throws, and got in her 1 traveling call per game.
But, she kept us in the game shooting 6 for 8 from the field, scoring 15 points and pulling down 15 boards - 10 offensive. Her rebounding kept us in the game.

Gerlich, who played for Texas Tech, and Schaefer both said they'd be open to playing in the future.
The administration already said they wouldn't go back to Lubbock due to past serious safety concerns.
If we need to beef up our noncon schedule in the future we might play a B12 team, but it won't be Tech. Tech can wither and die, no one would notice.

Vic is very, very upset. May be gamemanship to get team's attention for the stretch run and postseason. (excerpts, long article)
That's not how we practice or prepare. It really bothers me. In my mind, we didn't earn the victory tonight. I thought Texas Tech really took the fight to us and Coach (Krista) Gerlach and her team are to be commended for that."
That doesn't make it any easier, y'all. We're lucky, we won the game. I'm hopeful my kids will learn from it. But when you have worked all year to put yourself in this position with four to go, you have four championship games. Now we have three and that's what you're going to bring to the table?
Gerlich, who played for Texas Tech, and Schaefer both said they'd be open to playing in the future.
Thanks for pulling the quotes for us. Much appreciated.

My point being—I like what I’m seeing out of McCasland at tech right now.
McCasland's long-term career record justified his move to a better position. RT's long-term career record justified him being a fine assistant somewhere.
Empirical evidence might be able to guide you to potential outcomes....

Pulling bad free throw shooting Amina out.

Don't go through them either Holle.
-
That was horseshit.
Jones got fouled, the smaller girl got her face in the way and they got 4 points out of it.
-
Better not charge Jones with that.

-
They are shooting 31% from three for the year and 53% today.
-
Our offense is so slow and measured it's painful. Wide open threes all day but we don't take them so they pack the paint.
Back to the Shays with 5 points, Gaston and Moore with 0
Booker with 4 fouls is a killer
-
Really fucking annoying calls right now, changing the game.
