Tried to embed a tweet previously w/o success.
I guess this is the annual kids game. Good thing for the program to do and fun to listen to the kids enjoy it. The visitors must wonder what’s up though.

Thanks for posting all these.
I’m ok with the ranking. You can easily have a H2H and have the loser ranked higher. Body of work, perceived bad match-up for the higher seed and also the perception that if you play the game 7 times the loser may predominately come out on top. They were ranked way high, we were ranked way low, pollsters weren’t willing to drop them that much, I’m good with it.
If Matharu doesn’t go off we probably lose that game.
But she did. 😀
We need Stanford ranked high and doing well to help our SOS.
Davis and Ballou are both Austin sporsters.
We were only 25th due to Schaefer’s coach-god cred, we had lost too much production and have too many newcomers.
I certainly didn’t think we would be this good.
Big jump from 25th to 12th but it’s very early in the season and we beat the defending champs in their house. It was also on a Sunday afternoon on ESPN with Lobo giving us love.
Good times for UT BB.

Also to add, Stanford was planning on celebrating their 2021 title right after 🤣
Ha! They should have done it Thursday but I guess they wanted the Sunday crowd. "After we beat Texas we will celebrate our...." Ooops. 😄
I love watching this team but I cringe every time Warren goes down. Never seen a player hit the floor as hard and often as she does. I just hope this is not affecting her long term.

Ladies saved my weekend. What a great team, deep and tough. Matharu bringing it in the fourth, going to be a fantastic year.

Geez Rori. Stanford looking very doable right now.

10-10 after 1. Harmon has 8 points
Taking a charge, handling the ball and carrying us offensively. She needs a little help here.

Would love to win but not expecting it. Defending champs in their house and us with basically a new team. Still glad for the game. Will motivate the team to get better, see the most glaring issues to work on and will be fun to see the line-ups Vic throws at them. Just wish we had a few more games before the big challenge. And you never know, this group is going to surprise some teams.
7 for 8 for three in the first half and 27 total in 14 minutes?
Hunter the Spurs are calling on line 1...

I hope Gaston can stay healthy. There's a reason some had her as the #1 recruit a few years ago before the injuries.
I thought she looked very good last season before the injury. Matter of fact, I think she would have been the 2nd best player on the roster by the end of the season.
Agreed, really disappointed when she went down last year, was just starting to shine. Not getting as much press as some right now but I’m expecting a break-out year for her. The potential on this team is unreal. That Lattimore….

My favorite part of this video is at the 8:36 mark.
You can’t hear Vic well so Harmon, always looking to make the assist, reaches over, moves things and points to Vic to move his microphone over which he dutifully does.
Rori Harmon, dropping dimes even after the game is over.

They have some taller girls but seem to start that small lineup. Could get ugly eh?
