  1. FYI In the Statesman today:

Ithiel Horton is quietly garnering more playing time

Terry continues to tweak his rotation, with reserve guard Ithiel Horton seeing five more minutes than starter Chendall Weaver. Horton, a graduate transfer from Central Florida, has averaged 23 minutes a game over the past three games and has drawn praise from Terry for his rebounding and defensive work. He also made a pair of 3-pointers, the first time he’s sunk more than one from long distance since exploding for 20 points against his former UCF teammates Jan. 17.

They said it: “I thought Ithiel came in and played well. He hit those two threes and guarded really hard, and that kind of kept Chendall off the court. I think we can play a lot of different ways; sometimes, you’ve got to mix it up a little bit and go with different guys.” — Texas coach Rodney Terry

True. That doesn’t mitigate the fact that Hadi has played some valuable minutes over the course of this season, then poof, she’s gone. I find it odd.

Someone went to the WBB luncheon yesterday and kindly reported on another site:

Faye: No injury, requested time away from the team to deal with personal issues. Vic left the impression that nobody knows, including him.

I’m still convinced OU will have a couple more losses. I think we return the favor when we play them in Norman and they still have to play Baylor again and at West Virginia. Anything can happen.

To beat OU in Norman Vic is going to have to make some adjustments to slow the game down.
Without Rori quickness is this team's kryptonite;  OU/Tot ran circles around us.

I thought she did a fine job, not sure why she was negative about Clark.

We are now seeing it in Waco.  We'll see it eventually at UConn and Stanford.

Nicki actually runs a pretty fun, wide-open offense. And this is only her 3rd year and 2nd full recruiting class. The Big 12 is a very good conference - every team in the top 102 in NET (even SEC has Kentucky at 160).  I mean, I don't wish nice things for Baylor, but Nicki is a class act and very complimentary of Texas/Vic, which also draws the ire of the Wacko cultists.  They will eventually run her off back to the WNBA and continue to wander the desert.

The SEC is only going to get better with Texas/OU, and the B1G/ACC are adding UCLA, USC, Stanford.  The new tier of WCBB will be ACC, SEC, B1G, Big 12.

    Tech after Sharp.

Yeah, Coach Collen is aces, I wish her all the best.  But Baylor can burn to the ground.
