  1. GD even for a$m, how the hell on Addazio? Wait, Jimbo ... Petrino, Durkin, etc nvm - it's like Saban rebuilding coaches but with ones that have huge character flaws that can't be changed.  That coaching tree is going to profit.  I do like their defensive line (all 20 of them or so) but roster mgmt ouch.  Kinda got to have other positions and some depth.  We could witness another comical year for aggy.  A few injuries (never happens) and wow, they are in trouble.

Saw RoJo at home slice north after the Baylor game. Thought it was him as I walked past to pickup my order but wasn't sure. Then on my way out I saw his thighs and the width of his back. Dude's built like a brick shit house.

Also, wanted to go to the host/hostess and tell them that RoJo shouldn't be waiting around in the lobby with his parents for a table like some sort of common asshole.

    Sorry for the tangent.

Never got to meet Rojo or Bijan in person - but yea, you get it.  We've all seen pictures but IRL it's like holy shit that dude is a monster! The amount of work and training those elite backs/players do is crazy.  They are total freaks of nature.  It's like a 32" waist with 32" thighs and wearing a 46 suit coat.  Takes a big dude to knock LBs on their asses like Rojo and Bijan did. Hell, how many knockout's did Ricky have with his thighs - I know the last was against a$m when he set the rushing record. Agree on the no waiting for Rojo and family policy - should be a state law!

  3. Solid info @NoName .  I was in school from '91 to '97 (under and grad).  Crossed paths with Mackovic weekly. Always liked the guy and he'd stop to talk with me every time.  He asked me to go to the Sun Bowl when Priest Holmes totally went off.  I regret not making that trip but I was there in the Alamo Bowl when he called that 4th down tight end pass and the last second field goal. If you guys haven't met a great RB in real life - wow - you wouldn't believe the size of their thighs.  Ricky and Priest - jeez. Ricky couldn't find jeans to fit him - had to get a huge waist and have a ton taken in on it - just to fit his thighs.  Priest was built the same.

  4. I have to believe the Luccidites are some 16-30 types with no real degrees.  Their conspiracy theories, to self delusional fantasies they propagate on us and us controlling the media are beyond crazy.

Sark may not be our perfect coach, neither was Mack.  Sark is filling my wish list on recruits, now he needs to get a 10 win season. He's in year 3 (not year 5 of Jimbo's failure).  If Petrino brings anything to that team it will be some semblance of roster management. I think they will improve on offense, not much. Petrino is a hell of a lot better on leading a team than Jimbo. Maybe it works for them?

There has to be a more rational fan base for them, maybe not ... thinking back to my visits to that hellhole for games.  I've never seen anything as delusional as the Luccidites. Honestly, it's worth a book on comparing them to how Hitler owned Germany.

That's a good game to play.

Seems like Sark is here until he is fired or retires.

I would bet given his family ties that Banks stays as long as Sark is here.

PK has given no indication that he wants a head coaching job, so he likely stays for awhile.

Flood seems happy with his stable of big humans and working with Sark, so I think he stays.

Choate has solid head coaching experience at a lower level and is learning at this level. I expect him to snag a Mountain West type job in a year or two and then move up to a major school within 2-3 years after that. But then again, he and PK are buds.

Milwee seems attached to Sark, but it would not surprise if some OC job comes knocking--especially if we do well with Arch.

I don't know about Bo's ambitions. Does he want to be a DC? I'd like to think he's ready to settle down and stay in Austin, but there always seem to be rumors about him.

Choice seems ambitious and I could see him going for a stronger title or to the NFL. After Bijan and RoJo, if Baxter is as good as advertised, he'll have people calling.

Gideon is coaching at his alma mater, so it may take a lot to draw him away. He may wait it out and try to get the DC job after PK retires or moves back to the NW in a few years.

If we keep improving on D, Joseph may get some looks for DC jobs. I don't how attached he is to UT and Austin.

Jackson just arrived so you have to think he's here for at least two seasons.

Strength coaches don't seem to move around a lot unless the head coach leaves, so I guess Becton is here for a bit.

I know nothing about Fenner and if he wants to coach at the college level or not. It'd probably be good for guys in these positions to move on after 2-3 years so you can get a new high school guy. Keeps the HS coaches on their toes and working to curry favor with Texas.

Solid insight, thank you. Goes with most of what I guessed.  Davis, Flood, Banks, and PK/Choate really seem to be the keys to me.  It has really hurt us shifting DC's (entire staffs) every few years.  Y2 under PK - Ford and others really progressed. Y3 for Ford should be a treat to watch.  Learning and recruiting towards a specific system is huge imo. Hoping we retain the nucleus of this staff for years.

@texifornia, I'll give you I forgot LT but anyone screaming that Dalton is memorable or anything but maybe approaching average is crazy. His career QBR etc shows average to below average. Yes, he somehow got a few pro bowls early in his career with a 50ish QBR. Outside the state of Texas and I bet 50% or more in the state of Texas, TCU is a complete unknown geographically or for anything to most sports fans.  UT, USC - different story.

Davey O'Brien? Yep, he went to TCU spent most of his career as a back-up until his senior year (a good year). Spent 2 years iirc in the NFL all sometime in the late 1930's. A foundation awards a trophy with his name on it. Puts TCU on the map ... totally. Maybe Duggan will.

I'm not against the school, it's probably a decent college.  But a talented football athlete that can choose between UT, USC, TCU - there's one in that list that doesn't belong. But you do you and proclaim the TCU might and that people even know where it is (they don't), their huge NFL HOF list and roster of players, etc.  They don't belong in the same conversation as UT or USC for football by any known metric.

I did think Milwee had some type of OC/co-OC title for pay reasons, my bad on that.

  6. I get that TCU played in the title game and got properly ass raped. Why a talented or smart young person would ever choose TCU over UT or USC is beyond me.  Outside of Texas and probably most in Texas, no one even knows where TCU is - that degree would be worthless in Atlanta, TN, Colorado, IL, etc. - all places I've lived and a UT education is known.  NFL, name a famous TCU player without research. I can't.

I'd slap the shit out of my son if he could go to UT or USC free and picked TCwho?

aggy is just worried that Texas is going to ascend to heights that aggy hasn’t in over a decade. I’ll mark my post, but I guarantee a UT - SEC “West” Championship prior to aggy. Probably within the first 2-3 years.

    Hook’em!!!

aggy hasn't done anything in over a generation. Their claimed championships are all claimed by other schools.  We're talking WW1/start of WW2 type crap - they self awarded.

Missouri is 50/50ish in the SEC and has won a SEC West championship and played in the SEC title game. aggy, not so much.  They'd have rings, plaques, new buildings, etc if they had Missouri success. Damn it would suck to be an aggy - all levels.  But, got Jimbo! Well done aggy. They are hoping for Missouri level success but are SEC ready!

Our (and OU) SEC entrance is going to crush that diploma mill.

Reminder that everyone except Texas posts donations from boosters in their revenue numbers. He’ll, aTm included loans from the academic side as Revenue.

    Texas does not.

For a semi-decent accounting school, atm should know that's a liability not revenue. Maybe it's the scrutiny we put on atm, but that is a backwards program in every regard. The lies on championships, the cheating, the fools they hire, etc? How does a program do this for decades ... well, shit, over a generation.  And they wonder why they are the laughing stock of programs. Absolute fools.

Glad for my UT MPA and BBA degrees. Wow.

  9. We can wish or not on the hobbit's future.  I want him there for decades.  If shit starts coming out about hobbit covering up rapes again etc. wow, this gets ugly.  I hope those women get support and help. Petrino seems logical for the next $100 M contract. His next best was $250k at some directional TN school? Makes sense for aggy. Wow on ugly.  I couldn't imagine this and don't like it tbh.

And at 5'7" he can look Jimbo directly in the eyes and profess his aggy loyalty.  That new 5"11" LB they got seemed like a giant to Jimbo. SEC ready.  Been working for the past decade. Go aggy.

Small and slow BUT they beat out Baylor, Ole Miss, and CU as his best option.

Apparently, we saved 25+ major programs (Who's Who offer list, similar to Hill) from dodging the Gullette bullet.  When a young man has an offer list like Gullette, it's a damn strong indicator of potential and ability imo.

    Truly a delusional fan base.
