Any one have any experience with Grilla grills? I was measuring out the RecTec today and my initial location will only work with the RT-340 which they are only offering with a pellet bundle now.

A buddy has a Grilla likes it. The Grilla Grilla (dumb) would fit nicely in my spot and if I’m reading their site correctly I could add racks to get up to 630 sq in.

I don't personally have any hands on experience but have only heard positive reviews of the grills. This forum has a search function at the bottom of the page for info.

Well, with bad weather rolling in, we parked Mrs. CHIEF's GS-F and my white 4x4 F350 in the shop and brought out Mrs. CHIEF's old car, or "Hoopty" as she calls it. 253k miles and is still the best 4x4 we have ever owned. She will never be sold. 2003 V8 4Runner:

Bought her new in 2003. Pushbutton locking diff, full time AWD. This is the kind of weather where she shines.

The Travis County Medical Society and Dell Medical School hosted a town hall on vaccines featuring local leaders Mark Escott and Stephanie Hayden.  It's about 30 minutes of powerpoint followed by 30 minutes of Q&A.  Some takeaways:

    • They are developing a points based ranking system to determine priority for the vaccine -- it is still under development.  They didn't specify if this was countywide, statewide, or nationwide.
    • The vaccine will be free, but providers may charge an admin fee similar to an office visit to cover their costs.  The amount might be set by the provider, still TBD.
    • The AstraZeneca vaccine is cheaper than the mRNA vaccines (like $4 a dose vs $20 a dose) and may be available in higher quantities worldwide.
    • Guidance for those under 18 and those who are pregnant/lactating is not complete.  Maybe adults get vax but kids do not?
    • I would not expect large vaccination centers.   The state is enrolling existing providers (pharmacies, hospitals, etc) instead.

So we're asking millions of people who have been holed up in their homes to go into confines where the mother of all super spreader potential awaits, to get vaccinated.?

The old radio series with William Conrad as Matt Dillon was even better. He was a lot meaner than the James Arness version.

i watched the first season last fall and Matt's character was much darker and not very friendly.

And now...  Pellets.  How long can they be stored and under what circumstances?

I'm in the Houston area and humidity sucks.

How much should I keep on hand and where?  It's not like I can have multiple 20 lb bags inside (in the house vs. In the garage) and I'm not even sure that would help all that much.

Assuming I'd like to cook every weekend, do I need to buy before hand or is there a way to store them outside in some kind "dry" container?

5 gallon bucket with lid from home depot, lowes, hardware store etc...

Same reason it’s happened here in Alabama and in the following states in yellow - refusal to expand to expand Medicaid in the wake of Obamacare as a purely political “fuck you” to Obama.

That has hurt small rural hospitals disproportionately and resulted in many of them closing up shop because they relied heavily on payments from Medicaid.

Oh don't be so humble about your intelligence. What is different since Saturday? And I haven't mentioned him. You shouldn't either. That is the preferred narrative for Trump to game. It keeps his supporters occupied with meaningless noise. That issue fires up the Trump base.

    Fuck the trump base.

    Maybe their planking?

Seriously, this looks like a regular block.  One block and maybe 20+ bodies.  I don't know what proof needs to be out there that the numbers are much, much higher.  But tomorrow,  the Chinese government will post their official results,  and media outlets will claim we're winning.

Looked like one of the bodies moving at 00:28 mark.

  10. I hope this continues.

So far, the new coronavirus doesn’t seem to spread as easily among people as SARS or influenza. Most of the cases so far that spread between people were of family members and health workers who had contact with patients. That suggests the new virus isn’t well adapted to infect people.

    Something like this?  Link

That would sit on top of your grates.  A griddle insert made by weber is probably out there somewhere but it would likely cost just as much as a Blackstone though.  Hell even the one I linked is still a $130.  You could probably find something similar cheaper though, but still blackstones are always on sale somewhere.

If a smaller one would work, this is around 50.00.
