  1. Great question! Evidently he used Emsam patches. Those are for Parkinson’s. I’d never heard of them being used for alertness, but I’m guessing they don’t suppress appetite like adderall. Caroline looks like an adderall fiend. He hated Bitcoin. Spoke poorly about it all the time.
  2. Blockchain and Web 3.0 are all hand waving terms crypto people use. You have to separate bitcoin from “crypto”. Bitcoin is a digital asset/money that people can hold themselves. It can be used to transact with others without using a third party intermediary, similar to cash. Also similar to cash, it is censorship resistant meaning you can spend it on what you want, however much you want, unlike the funds in your bank account. It’s different from cash in that it cannot be debased by the Federal Reserve. There’s a verified, fixed number of units. 21 million bitcoin. In contrast to cash, you can personally hold any amount up to billions of dollars on a small wallet. Also, it’s not a liability of anyone else if you hold your own coins. As for sending or spending, the Lightning network being built on bitcoin allows for quick transactions and settlement finality in seconds. Its utilization is steadily growing. Not sure what all will come of it. What applications can come from streaming micropayments etc?
  3. They do lie to you sometimes. As seen here. Or at least can be very dishonest in how they portray events. You don’t even have to do your own research. Just follow the events as they’re uncovered on Twitter. Holy shit, maybe that’s why the CR crew is rooting so hard against Elon/Twitter? News spreads that is different than the spin that MSM tries to put on things. Very upsetting. The saltiest are always the ones that had brushes with it, but didn’t follow through or otherwise lost interest. CaptainAntifa mined some back in the day too iirc.
  4. What do you mean by commercial utility? Also, adds value or has value?
  5. Another bizarre media take. I apologize for bringing the right wing hellscape to surly by pointing out this nonsense.
  6. You don’t get it. That’s ok. How does pointing out repeated media dishonesty or bias equate to a right wing hellscape?
  7. Wow. What a story. Psychopath. The lack of empathy is what allows to just keep talking about all of this. Someone will take him out.
  8. Wal-Mart receives message and follows POTUS edict to “bring down prices, man”.
  9. Lol CZ is no saint but unless I’m mistaken he did nothing illegal selling his tokens and stress testing FTX. Maybe Congress is waiting for the criminal investigation of Sam to take care of him? Still looks weird from an optics perspective. Another example of diverting attention from Sam. On a related note.
  10. I haven’t seen anyone say to liquidate. I’ve seen tons of people say to pull your coins off exchanges. As far as criminals getting put under pressure and turning, I’d love that. He didn’t bolt to Dubai or somewhere in Asia like the other recent frauds. Either he was totally blindsided or he’s delusional and doesn’t think he did anything wrong. I hope he gets brought into custody today. I’m not sure what he would spill necessarily. The fraud he committed was two things. He issued an illegal security and gamed the resulting system to lever up. (This should be enforced. It’s already illegal.) He also co-mingled funds and stole from his own customers. Also illegal. I think those two things are the basis of majority of crypto exchange fraud that will come out. Now if you’re telling me he’s going to spill more on the mysterious origins of his wealth or maybe give more details on Gary Wang, his mysterious co-founder that has almost zero internet presence, then I will really be interested.
  11. It? Everything? Very doubtful. Too many zealots, criminals, undesirables. And since you quoted CaptainAntifa I’ll address his attempt at making a point. The entire point of every single shitcoin is to make money for the creators and “teams”. Most shitcoiners are lukewarm at best on Bitcoin. Also, needing BTC to trade in and out of shitcoins isn’t really true anymore. Eth is a more common trading pair if you aren’t just using stablecoins, especially in DeFi. Thanks for telling on yourself and your lack of current understanding. This isn’t 2017. Time to catch up if you want to FUD.
  12. How much high tension unwinding do you think there is left when we’re already 75% down? The bubble has already popped. This is all sorting out the bottom.
  13. Another crypto lender in trouble. The last tweet is the key point. DCGs other interests include GBTC trust. If those assets were comingled or otherwise impaired would be disaster. I see that as unlikely though. They are regulated, have SEC filings, but caution is still warranted now.
  14. Re Saylor margin call: He pledged BTC as collateral for cash loan to buy more BTC. Classic degen behavior. He would have to pledge more. Not sure it sets off a cascade. Here are the numbers. First bonds due in 2025. That’s not a coincidence. That would be after next bull cycle. He’ll either be the Goat or an epic bust. Whatever you say, he has conviction.
  15. The in-house psychiatrist (um, wtf) that was used in NYT puff piece has some interesting past reviews.
  16. I think there’s some CR reasons behind it, but it’s a weird deal with all the connections of the people. 😂
