The-Lord-of-the-Rings_-The-Rings-of-Power-Official-Trailer-_-Prime-Video-1-53-screenshot-compressed.jpg Did they add a chin dimple in makeup? Or maybe they are enhancing his face? He looks like he has a more pronounced chin with a dimple. The colored eyes with his skin tone is devastating enough but add a fuckin' chin dimple and he can cause a tsunami in a room full of ladies. A pissnami!

Just caught up and read through this thread. I suspect binge watchers will have a more favorable opinion of these early episodes, because I didn’t even consider most of the complaints brought up here.

I will say, for a show that many have labeled boring and predictable, it was quite funny to read all of the wrong guesses in hindsight.

I'll suffer through a few slow spots for a show that has a good plot/storyline and at least makes an attempt to develop characters. The Lord of the Rings spinoff is just the opposite for me, a hot mess of shitty casting, undeveloped characters and convoluted plot lines.

The hardest part for me has been getting used to the new actors from the time jump. I would have preferred they kept the original Rhaenyra and just aged her.

The black elf guy who is in love with Bronwyn is a total babe.  I don't really get why he loves her when she basically has the lifespan of a gnat compared to him. I know she is the leader of her people and a gifted healer, but I don't think she has even put out yet aside from one kiss.

Also, I have to watch episodes like 3 times to soak up all that is going on. I always catch new things each time. I don't know who Adar is but he is very interesting to me.

He looks like the elf version of A-Rod

Forgetting to lock a car door can happen to anyone and sadly some people don't respect another's property. But, having lived in the country I am perplexed that someone wise enough to gang up their errands on a trip to town (as country folk do) would not leave the meal for the last stop or at least get a pizza to go since that reheats well in the oven after the forty minute drive home. (5-10 minutes at 350 degrees)  When one is paying someone else to cook the meal, eat it there or you've got cold greasy fries and life is too short for that. Oh, and if your nearest town has a big box store like HD or Lowes, multipack batteries and the self check go pretty quick (just from personal experience). You have to buy name brand, but (for example) it works out to <1.00 a battery for some 2A models. If they still offer curbside pickup, order before you leave the house and you can eat your burger in your fancy truck while they bring it out to your car. Maybe don't put the gun on the dashboard though...

1 It wasn't a trip to town, it was on the way home from work.

2 Store was several miles closer to home

3 took 2 minutes to run in and buy batteries

4  I have plenty of batteries but needed some lithium batteries for a game cam

    5 I don't eat in my truck

Are there any other meaningless details perplexing you?
