TXK pleasant grove in 4a beating the shit out of gilmer 56 to 20. Supposed to be a down year with a roster full of juniors and sophomores.

Cant see us going much farther but if so....good coaching.

You never know - They have some pretty good wins this year and a 7 point loss to Carthage (in a game they could have easily won) tells me they can hold their own against anyone.  Would love to see Texas sign that Landon Jackson kid.

Spiro is coming out or just did. It’s dragon game.

Thanks - will check it out.  I've seen the name but had no idea what it was.

What sports do they like? My kid plays the hell out of FIFA, Madden, and NBA Live.

Soccer and football.  Was looking at FIFA - do you think the 4 year old would get anything out of it?  I think the older one would like it.

On the national title - I'm assuming UT only claims AP or/and Coaches Poll titles? Because in 1970 we didn't finish #1 in the AP but did in the UPI. Obviously the other 3 claimed are completely undisputed.

UPI poll is the coaches poll.  Name changed in 1990.  Back then, the final coaches poll was released before the bowl game hence the split national championship that year.

I understand, but they have chosen to avoid the madness all-together.

Actually, they would still have to go through immigration if landing in the States.  Unlike many other countries, all passengers landing in the US have to clear immigration, even those who are only connecting en route to another country.

Hey asshole, I’ll gladly admit to being confused by the tiebreaker rules, but if WV loses to oSu and then beats OU we all have 2 conference losses. It’s a 3-way tie with each time having beaten one and lost to the other.

If WVU beats OU, then OU wouldn't have beaten one - they would have lost to both WVU and UT.

My at the time five yr old loved no stress chess. You can play it the regular way, or to determine where you move and what you move (this is the no stress way) players take turns pulling a card from the deck that tells what piece to move and where.

My six year old also really learned a lot from No Stress chess.  He would sit there and play vs. himself with the cards.  He's since joined the chess club at his elementary school.  I sat down and played with him the other day and was surprised at his skill level.

    hmm...so many stories.

dorm roommate #1 was from deep in the valley and apparently had never been to a major city before. didn't shower the entire semester. wore the same two outfits that he'd rotate every other day. washed those two outfits about once a month in the sink with only water. none of my friends would ever step into the room because the smell was indescribable. he was a really nice guy that had only one chunky lesbian friend that would tell us how cool it was to ride the campus loop (40 acres shuttle?) round and round because she had a clit piercing. i think he was the valedictorian in a school of 20 or so students...but he didn't last to become a sophomore. most likely homesick.

    Ummm...what????

  8. Couches...lots of couches.
It really wasn't bad.  40's with no wind or snow is good football weather here.   I'm packing up to go home now.  Baylor did not look  good at all.  I think their QB play was the worst we have seen all year.  It was nice to get out of the funk that our offence has been in for 2-1/2  games.
Now we actually start the hard part of our schedule.  If our O-line doesn't learn to run block, we are in for a long few upcoming weeks.
    Go Mountaineers!!!
I was there with my son who is a freshman at wvu. No wind but it was still pretty damn cold.

I guess some guy jumped over the side of the upper deck during the game. We were on the other side and were wondering why everyone was gathered round looking over.

I'll be back in a couple of weeks for TCU.
