First, congrats to Monster on earning the right to play with knives. Incidentally, do they still cut corners of the card when someone catches you screwing around with a blade?
Seems like there's a decent chance that whatever you get him now he'll also own as an adult, so I think I'd skip the Bear Grylls just because I'd be suspicious of the quality.
Of the two Schrade, I think it'd come down to which style you think he'd prefer. Since I'm kinda old now, my tastes tend to lean more toward a classic look so I'd vote for the black one.
If you're open to some other more of a "classic" option, here's a couple I'd like to own.
Ruthe 21 for about $22
or Snow & Neally Penobscot Bay for about $56 or so. This one's been on my list for awhile now.

That is an interesting sign over there by that Sprite colored bicycle there.
Can't stand those bikes.

I’ve had mixed feelings about Howard coming on board. No doubt he’s an accomplished director, but from the outside, it seemed that this film was too far off course for even he to correct.
I’m hoping I’m wrong and that he managed to snatch this one out of the fire.

I loved the book. I suspect I was the target market though, 80s kid that grew up on video games...
...Video games, dungeons and dragons, and Rush. If there were only 60s mustangs and acid washed denim included, it would have knocked the culture references out of the park.
Loved the book, so I’ll watch the film

Face ID has been ok for me. I would say works about 75% of the time. I am overall happy with the phone.
Face ID has been great except for in situations like whenever I've been skiing.
Would be cool if you could add a couple of faces for it to recognize in different situations.
