  1. I read that as he was worried about retrieving the gun not just to get the evidence back but because it was such a big gift from his grandfather that it would be super suspicious if he couldnt show them it was in his possession. He still thought he was going to get away with it but then his Dad (and other family) wanted confirmation he had the gun.
  2. Drone show or not my kids will riot anyways.
  3. Any idea if they're doing a drone show for SHSU? Taking the kiddos.
  4. He stuck it in his pant leg and up into a backpack. He acted like he had a limp and limped all the way through a neighborhood, into the campus, into the building and up on the roof. There was a stairway that led directly onto the roof. The whole thing is caught on cameras. He climbs over this small wall next to the public roof area and hides for about 20 minutes where he assembles something with the gun, and then goes to his perch and makes the shot. Then he runs across the giant roof area to the corner farthest away from where Kirk was, throws the gun down to the grass, jumps down, and then walked over to a wooded area across the street where he dumped the gun. Since it was caught on cameras they immediately searched the wooded areas because they saw him walk in there. This video does a good walkthrough. The guy is a bit of a dildo but the walkthrough makes sense if you watch all the camera videos. For me, its very strange how easy it is to get up on the roof and get down from it. Its tailor made for a snipers position. Not a difficult maneuver and certainly wouldnt require a bunch of extensive training or anything. The main question for me is how he got the idea to use the roof. Could be as simple as he had been up there before and then heard where Kirk would be setting up and realized he could likely pull it off without having to do anything too complicated.
  5. I agree its very likely simple, but it doesn't feel that random to me. The expectations for the guy are through the roof, there's not any wiggle room in there. Its gotten to him.
  6. Milwee was a big part of that recruitment and a relationship got formed between him and the Mannings. At least at one point they were big fans of his. Wonder where things stand now.
  7. Society is breaking apart at the seams before they have any control over any of it, and they're mad/worried that they're not even going to get to participate in their own version of America before the whole thing descends into madness. And angry young people are intolerant in many ways.
  8. The groyper community is filled with young disaffected men who have no real political beliefs and tilt towards nihilism, they're just looking for a group that is just as miserable as them, and find humor in violence and extremely irreverent ideas. I think the majority of the groypers are Fuentes disciples and take to heart what he says, but theres a significant portion of them who just want to see the world burn because they are so deeply unhappy. If you grow up in a conservative household and tilt towards nihilism and were born in a certain timeframe, theres a decent chance you're super online and end up being a "groyper".
  9. Dak hit CeeDee between the numbers, cant throw it better than that. No way you can drop that ball. Terrible.
  10. I feel the same way. It’s interesting to see how the NFL is bleeding into the college game now. I think we forget how serious a lot of these players have been for years before they even get to college. From my limited experience with my own kids, if there’s a couple of elite kids in a grade they are getting put into NFL style programs around the 5th or 6th grade where they have 7 on 7, nutrition, personal trainers, the whole nine yards. They’re showing up to these colleges with teams around them trying to make the league. Then you funnel those types up to the best programs and it’s not that far fetched that a guy like Patricia can get them running NFL schemes at a reasonably high level. I think it’s great.
  11. Not really disagreeing with your sentiment but this game reminded me a lot of Colt's first big game when we hosted.............Ohio State. Their state lines are almost identical.
  12. Patricia had a great gameplan and Sark/Arch got NFL'ed. That doesn't explain the stuff that we were able to control that went so poorly. We had what we needed to win but we needed Arch to be the guy and he just wasn't. He was missing throws you just cant miss. Very concerning. We are still going to be a good team but our whole offense is clearly a work in progress and that doesnt cut it if youre talking about a championship. I think you'll see a different Arch/offense by the time we get to Gainesville but its wait and see for any sort of expectations at this point. Wouldnt be the first time a young QB shits the bed against elite competition, especially in the first game.
  13. Arch has multiple coaches he works with over Zoom on mental stuff/film breakdown. Very good chance he doesnt come to Texas without Milwee but who actually knows. I was shocked at how bad he looked mechanically. Some members of his inside circle have been hinting the guy is ready to go on all levels. Mechanics, recognition, general health/strength, film preparation. All of it. Saturday was like getting coal in your stocking as a kid on Christmas morning. my impression is Milwee isn't going anywhere unless he leaves on his own for another job.
  14. Simmons has gotta be better than that
