Hornius Emeritus has plenty of (literal streets and highways of ) Texas cred built up, so he can post whatever the hell he wants.
Amen
FB is good for two things: Pics of grandkids and HE's contributions about our god-touched state

Go ahead and get excited about Moffitt. No problem. Enjoy.

So why not just say he's transferring, visit, pick a team, and STILL play/practice with the Longhorns?
"Yeah, Ohio State, I'm coming, I'm just going to wait until my current's team's season is done. Wait a few weeks."
Probably a stupid question, but I'm a stupid man so it fits.

If Maalik leaves, best of luck to him, unless he goes to one of our rivals... which we have a lot of.

A bigger pic because it's funny.
They were giving this guy a standing ovation a week ago. They really thought it made sense to pass him over for Elko and then offer being the highest-paid non-coordinator assistant and extend his already outsized influence on the program by making him interim HC.
It's not just a fox in the henhouse, it's a fox you purposefully made hungry before putting him in the henhouse.

Syracuse is a historic city on the Italian island of Sicily. The city is notable for its rich Greek and Roman history, culture, amphitheatres, architecture, and as the birthplace and home of the pre-eminent mathematician and engineer Archimedes. Living in Syracuse is about 10% cheaper than other parts of Italy. There's some old money there, but it seems doubtful they would be able to support a top-tier NIL operation.
Buddy, I wouldn't mind livin' in Pizza Merinara that's some good eatin' right there. Didn't know Argentina was so close to It'ly, tho

Building the trenches with developing HS players over time while bringing in skill targets through the portal seems like a really, really smart strategy.

You sure? Because both Arkansas and A&M were talking about how they were going to someplace where everybody would love and accept them and not be mean like Texas.

Thinking of it this way.... Pig is actually #2 for me, probably.
Physical aversion factor:
1 - Arkansas (scum humans, trash people, disgusting)
2 - OU
3 - A&MPower to make me want to die if we lose to them:
1 - OU
2 - Arkansas
3 - A&MHappiness level when beating them:
1 - OU
2 - A&M
3 - Arkansas (to rub it in their faces I would have to engage with them... detestable)Amount of respect I lose for someone when learning of their affiliation:
1 - Arkansas
2 - OU
3 - A&M"Fuck them, but... gotta hand it to 'em sometimes, they really know what they're doing" quotient:
1 - OU
DNQ - A&M
DNQ - Arkansas- 5

I didn't say they weren't a rival.
But our fight song was written 100 years ago before the State Fair tradition had even started. Things might have changed from the 1920s.
Three. There are three.
I feel like people have forgotten the Pigs but you will soon be reminded on a regular basis.
Pig is a distant 3rd.
OU
A&M

Rice/Tech/whatever
The idea of not playing OU is unacceptable, I would write dozens of sternly worded letters if that game stopped. Not playing A&M is painful, but overall its fine. I forget Arkansas even exists.- 1

We have two huge rivalries. One is more important than the other, but they're both huge. It's very good that we're playing both every year again, starting next year.

I think they can too.
Florida is a mess and all their recruits are bailing.
Exactly. I obviously hope A&M doesn't get Lagway or anyone else they want, but it's not like Florida is a magnet for the best of the best and seeing bright things in their future.
Garbage fire program right now.

LMAO at the ag who would rather see Texas lose than aggy win. That's some next-level jealousy.
Watching A&M lose is one of my favorite things to do. And there are some Aggie defeats that I'd MUCH rather re-watch than some Longhorn victories. Different forms of pleasure.

Sorry you're poor, I guess, UGA fans. I'm sure there are some RV parks within mule's ride distance that you can pitch your tent outside of.

Letting the mercenaries and leech coaches walk isn't the issue. Bad attitude kids/garbage coaches need to be gone and that's always a good thing. The issue is the new HC's skill at bringing in quality replacements and whether or not that happens quickly enough to impact the results on the field.
Can THE ELK do that? Not an A+ so far, that's for sure.

An Aggie friend has been very defensive lately and said they are getting Florida State's DC. He is not big league donor or anything, so I'm sure he's hearing that from their boards or $9.95ers or whatever.
