  1. Going to a wedding in Monaco in June. Taking kids too. Would ideally like to go business class to allow them to sleep (they’ll be 6 and almost 4). Home base is IAH (but would also consider ATL as in laws are there or JFK as I can always enjoy a few days in NYC, but would prefer IAH). Current cash prices are $3500-4500 each depending on how you play with the days. Nonstop is a must.

Now, on to my point balances. I have 290k on my Sapphire Reserve card that have never been allocated and 115k on my Amex Plat card that’s also never been allocated. Any of you savvy travelers who know how to use the alliances/code share partners have any advice on how to maximize the points and minimize my cost?

I’d like to fly into cdg but not opposed to flying into Istanbul, Amsterdam, or Athens either. Not so much London. TIA

I’m not so sure he’ll go down as top 5 of all time or make the HOF without a really strong back end of his career.

Looking at stats only, using his career averages (not counting the first 3 he sat) he’ll need 4 more years to be top 5 in tds, 6 more years to be top 5 in yards, 7 more years to be top 5 in wins, and that’s all if Brees and Ben stop playing tomorrow.

Without a lot more wins and another couple super bowl wins, by any objective measure, other than the eye test, he’s the 5th best qb of his era, if you put him ahead of Eli.

This first part is ridiculous. He’s a bitch and hasn’t helped my fantasy team much this year but he’s as sure a thing as a first ballot HOF’er there is.

  3. Ingredients

    1/4 cup distilled white vinegar

    2 jalapenos, roughly chopped

    4 cloves garlic

    4 bay leaves

1/2 cup freshly chopped Italian parsley

    1/2 cup freshly chopped cilantro

    1/2 cup freshly chopped oregano

    1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil

    Salt and pepper

    1 (1 1/2 to 2-pound) flank steak

    Directions

    1. Preheat a grill or broiler to high.
    2. In a blender, combine vinegar, jalapeno, garlic, and bay leaves puree until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and add the herbs. Whisk in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
    3. Season the flank steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper and grill/broil the steak for 2 to 3 minutes per side for medium rare. Slice the steak thinly, across the grain on the bias and serve with the chimichurri sauce.

    That’s the one I use

  4. It’s a good time for the 4 door mid/large sport coupe/sedan.

    Panamera beautiful

    new CLS beautiful

8 Gran Coupe looks good (with typical shitty bmw interiors)

new A7 looks ok (still not sold on rear)

amg gt 4 door looks good

can spend anywhere from 85k-180k and get a great car (with sub 5s 0-60) to a fucking 0-2.9 sec track car in 4 doors.

I’m eagerly awaiting seeing all these in the flesh and choosing one of these soon as my out of warranty 6 year old Audi scares me.
