Where are they going to go? They cannot go through the Bosporus.

I watched the Banshee pilot last night and enjoyed it. Of course, now come to find out that Apple TV, where I watched it, charges for any episode after the pilot. The only place I can find it free is on Cinemax, and fuck if I'm subscribing to another service.

Should have stayed in Ukraine.
He also rang up his ex-girlfriend. Not sure what he was expecting, seems pretty dumb.

Maybe because he didn’t want to risk the lives of American soldiers in Gaza or violate the confidentiality protocols he was required to adhere with.
"violate the confidentiality protocols he was required to adhere with" before he killed himself? Makes sense.

"character"
This is the same line of logic that says suicide bombers are "brave".

Never hated this as much as the critics. Rob Schneider wasn't bad, Diane Lane was hot, Armand Assante overacted well, and it had Max Von Sydow and Jürgen Prochnow. Wasn't bad for a 90's popcorn flick imo.

I know it's been mentioned, but I always enjoyed the Adventures of Ford Fairlane

Miller's Crossing is FINALLY available on streaming, Paramount +.
I haven't watched in years. Probably the last time was on a Netflix DVD in 2009.
I think they make the Italian gangsters a little silly while O'Bannon is Liam Neeson with a Tommy gun. Interesting choices, but it works.
3 hours ago, Herpa Derpa said:Slight correction. It is available on Paramount+ if you have the Showtime add-on.

Gladiator II releases trailer.
9 hours ago, Parliament said:Is that the real trailer? Because it looks like CGI shlock.
9 hours ago, CooterBrown said:That doesn’t look remotely real.
2 hours ago, Bevo&Pevo said:I never said it would be good. It's more than a stretch to even think it will be passable. All the good characters were killed off. If they were gonna take another shot at the apple they should have scripted up something for Lucky Jack.
It's a fan/concept trailer. It says so right in the first line of the description.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, based on the 2015 book by Damien Lewis and inspired by true events, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare details the World War II strategies conceived by United Kingdom Prime Minister Winston Churchill and James Bond creator and author Ian Fleming, whose clandestine squad’s unconventional and entirely ‘ungentlemanly’ fighting techniques against the Nazis helped change the course of the war and in part gave birth to the modern Black Ops unit.
I assume this is about the SOE.

BTW Ben Stone/Michael Moriarty was the man.

that's actually Briscoe and Ed Green.
this is Briscoe and Curtis.
which was the better pairing? that's for the fan to decide.
some might say Briscoe and Logan were the best.
all of this to say that the more supernaturally this season of True Detective gets, the more i lose interest. but i'll watch until the end.
I vote the OG

Yeesh if we are being bitches about flying F-18s against a bunch of amateurs then that definitely means we don't have the resolve to launch airstrikes against Iran. If we are being that big of bitches. Just bring everyone home

If they're >20,000 feet, they're gonna be safe from MANPADS and I'd imagine they could just do a SEAD with the Tomahawks and then send in the gravity-powered weapons
The Iranians have given them missile AA systems, and I don't think we have any convenient airbases nearby. With the carrier closer to the Gulf, ship launched cruise missiles were probably the efficient choice.

Saw it in the theater opening week before they censored this scene. Great, fun, movie, with a lot of young/famous/character actors. Omar Epps, James Caan, Kristy Swanson, Joey Lauren Adams, Andrew Bryniarski, Halle Barry, Abraham Benrubi, and Craig Sheffer. Very on-point in regards to 90's college ball.
"Yeah, but when was the last time 80,000 people showed up to see a kid do a damn chemistry experiment?"
lol
