  1. I think "Get Out" is better than every one of those films.
I really didn't think it was anything special, just a decent thriller. The ending was unexpected, but not incredible. What parts stood out to you that make you think it was great?
  2. Depending on what you consider "great" I would say there are several great movies from the last 5 years alone. They all have different reasons for being great, though I tend to gravitate towards sci-fi, but I greatly enjoyed every one of these movies. What are the qualifications of "great"-ness?

    1. Mad Max Fury Road
    2. Hotel Grand Budapest
    3. Interstellar (minus the ending)
    4. Logan
    5. Straight Outta Compton
    6. Hell or High Water
    7. Blade Runner 2049
    8. Ex Machina
    9. Edge of Tomorrow
    10. Guardians of the Galaxy
    11. Django Unchained
  3. List of releases by date:

    1. Iron Man (2008)
    2. The Incredible Hulk (2008)
    3. Iron Man 2 (2010)
    4. Thor (2011)
    5. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
    6. Marvel's The Avengers (2012)
    7. Iron Man 3 (2013)
    8. Thor: The Dark World (2013)
    9. Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
    10. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

If I were to rank these in order of how much I enjoy re-watching them:

    1. Iron Man (2008)
    2. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
    3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
    4. Captain America: Civil War (2016)

  4. My favorite parody or "movie movie" since 2000 is Not Nother Teen Movie, but I saw it in the theater when I was 16. Hit all the right notes for a teenager, plus my older brother took me to see it, and was my "guardian" to get me in. Watched it again last year and lots of jokes still made me laugh out loud. Not anywhere near as good as Airplane, but it may be the best the 2000s have to offer.

I also really liked the first Scary Movie, but I think that's about it for the modern era.

  5. Fox News had an "Alert" that Mueller confirmed Trump isn't the target of criminal investigation, and that was all they reported. I went to look up what real story was, and sure enough, it's omitting the context of the investigation. Pretty funny, but also SAD.

  6. New map is ok. I like the jungle area, small scale, fast circles. Buildings are really bland looking, feels like a paintball arena. They must have turned up the loot rate, cause I was finding a dozen ARs in every building.

  7. Never read all these jive quotes before, but it's pretty entertaining. Can't imagine what the public backlash would be for a movie that wrote something like this today. Still brilliant comedy 38 years later.

First Jive Dude: Shiiiiit, maaaaan. That honky muf' be messin' mah old lady... got to be runnin' cold upside down his head, you know?

[subtitle: GOLLY, THAT WHITE FELLOW SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM MY WIFE OR I WILL PUNCH HIM]

Second Jive Dude: Hey home', I can dig it. Know ain't gonna lay no mo' big rap up on you, man!

[subtitle: YES, HE IS WRONG FOR DOING THAT]

First Jive Dude: I say hey, sky... subba say I wan' see...

    Second Jive Dude: Uh-huh.

First Jive Dude: ...pray to J I did the same-ol', same-ol'!

[subtitle: I KNEW A MAN IN A SIMILAR PREDICAMENT, AND HE ENDED UP BEING SORRY]

Second Jive Dude: Hey... knock a self a pro, Slick! That gray matter backlot perform us DOWN, I take TCB-in', man!

[subtitle: DON'T BE NAIVE ARTHUR. EACH OF US FACES A CLEAR MORAL CHOICE]

First Jive Dude: Hey, you know what they say: see a broad to get dat booty yak 'em...

First Jive Dude, Second Jive Dude: ...leg 'er down a smack 'em yak 'em!

[subtitle: EARLY TO BED, EARLY TO RISE, MAKES A MAN HEALTHY, WEALTHY AND WISE]

First Jive Dude: COL' got to be! Y'know?

    [subtitle: HOW TRUE!]

    First Jive Dude: Shiiiiit.

    [subtitle: GOLLY]

  8. From here on out, any game without injuries is a win.

I would prefer to let SA win and help them get the 4/5 spot so we can face Minny or Nola in the first round, but it doesn't really matter if Kawhi isn't coming back.
