After reading this thread I still don't know if it's OK that I went to an eye muscle specialist for double vision, got prescribed a strong prism and then went to Vision Works and got the RX put in some frames I picked out.

A friend had the Hornet, and I was always quite jealous.
Man, same here. He had one of those and I had a 15 dollar car from Target. We raced. I pouted and took my car home, cursing my parents the whole way.

Guilty. Though I would argue this is more a function of limited room to maneuver than lack of core strength. The taller you are the more I see this utilized. Still this is why I always piss before boarding.
I'm only 5 10 so maybe not qualified to say this, but that's a horseshit excuse. Any person that is not somehow physically disabled should be able to push themselves up enough on their own armrests to get to standing position.
I get a little irritated when someone reclines into my space, but it's their option and I don't get too worked up about it. Now a motherfucking fat, lazy, piece of shit that can't get push themselves up needs to get an aisle seat and roll their fat ass onto the floor and get up.
I don't give a fuck how you do it, but goddammit don't do it by pulling on my seat you worthless cocksucker.
My apologies for being harsh to you, TK, but fuck you anyway.

I fly once, maybe twice a month...so not as much as some but still a lot more than many. Usually either to LAX, ORD to DCA for work out of DFW. The credit card thing is spot fucking on. They just whip your ass every flight with that shit and then the one or two people you actually see taking anything from the FA look like they have no business on a plane much less carrying a credit card. Think the disheveled masses who look like they packed everything they own into a haversack from the Civil War era that they then spend a solid 2 minutes submitting you to their stank body while they struggle to cram it in to the overhead bin because they were too cheap to check a bag. Although i will submit the dirtiest, smelliest person I've ever shared an airplane space with was Ron Jeremy...but I'm guessing he had reasons.
I can attest that it was not just a bad smell day for RJ. It's a built in stink that can only come from years of where that man has been. God bless his soul.

Has anyone seen The Family I Had? Holy fucked up family! This isn’t really a spoiler cause believe it or not it’s not really the focus of this story and just mentioned that she was arrested for it but the grandmother total murdered her husband. That really is just a small side not in this crazy story and not focused on at all. But watch her talk about it especially when she talks about how she manipulated people.
I watched it last night. Yeah, that's a fucked up situation and family. I thought a really well done documentary, though.
I was a little torn on her visiting her son in prison, but I kind of understood that she couldn't just cut him loose as a parent, even though I say I definitely would if the roles were reversed. But, then the grandma talked about him trying to stab her other daughter (I think that's who she was talking about) and then taking him to a psychiatrist where the doctor told the mom that he was homicidal.Of course the grandma was nuts and may have made that up, but if she didn't, that mom really fucked up not getting him help and just using the excuse that she didn't think leaving him at that institution would help him, after talking the whole documentary how he should be in a mental institution and not prison. I came away really feeling for that mom and also thinking, fuck you, mom.

I have 3 of those Ken Onion that size that have opened thousands of cardboard boxes and are still like new. It's the perfect size for me.

Jesus that stone and crushed granite brings back some memories of doing my backyard. Looks like the exact stuff I used. Maybe half the size you did and just grueling work.
And damn well done.

Thanks, all. I really didn't know if it was sun beat or if that' was the color. I assume if it is still solid structurally that sun fade doesn't matter at all, right? It's been on FB marketplace for 2 weeks in south Louisiana where a lot of people kayak, but I've never used marketplace so I'm not sure if that's a long time or not.
There's also this 10' Pelican Apex? for $175 that appears to be in good condition and I really don't want to go over 3 hundred, because, well I may have a tendency to pick up hobbies that don't always last. It got good reviews, but I can't really find prices on them, so I don't know if 175 is a good deal or not.
I'm pretty sure I want sit on top, but that's all I know. I'm only 5'10 so maybe a 10 or 12 would work? Like I said, fishing would only be very casually, if at all, so that's not something I need to consider much. I'd be by myself usually, so weight and ease of loading/unloading is a factor.

Been awhile since I have bought a new knife. I got a new job, so I figured I would celebrate with a new blade. Just ordered this:
Special edition Kershaw Knockout with M390 steel.
I also saw this Kershaw Link that is about as close to burnt orange from the factory as you will find. I have the special edition version (with the deep carry clip) of the Link, so not sure if I will end up buying it. Good knife though.
That not closer?

That's awesome. One thing I think we forget to mention on this thread is the lack of mental fog on the keto diet.
I've noticed this, too. I figured it was just something the keto freaks said, but there's something to it.
I went on vacation and then out of town for work and didn't exercise for 3 weeks, so I put on a few pounds, but I somehow didn't cheat on the food. The thing I've noticed on keto, that a lot of people say doesn't happen, is I'm hungry a lot. Really hungry. I can control not eating, but when I eat, I can down a dozen eggs and a bunch of sausage and bacon in one sitting and I'm not full. I can't seem to get over that point and I was never a big portion eater.

Recently have enjoyed watching British & Australian actors that I am not familiar with in crime/political dramas.....
Completed:
- Secret City 2 Seasons (1st better than 2nd)
- Collateral (ok acting crime drama)
- Bodyguard (ok acting, kinda far fetched story)
Any other suggestions similar on Netflix??
The Fall? I liked it a lot. Bunch of others I'm blanking on. I went through a phase of watching a bunch of those

Never saw it

Another vote on Hannah. That's a bad bitch. Also, the guy impressed me as an actor. I thought he was fine in The Killing, but nothing above average. I guess I can't think of anything else I've seen him in.

Is this a show that needs to be watched? I feel like it does but have never heard it talked about and just saw that it's been on since 2013. I do tend to live underground sometimes.

Just stumbled on the documentary Cropsey. That's a creepy show, but good. I'd recommend for a little disturbing watch.
