  1. Everything SAS is involved in is a train wreck.
  2. So HOU kept Gordon all this time and ultimately got nothing for him?
  3. He is! Cant imagine any way he isnt bought out but still funny.
  4. Pretty wild that after all that tough talk by the Nets they trade KD to where he wanted to go for basically 3 role players none of which look like they have the potential to take the next step to even stardom. The Nets just threw away 4 yrs and the nice roster they managed to build before KD/Kyrie got there. They got a lot of press over the yrs but that is really it. Gotta ignore the clown. His agenda is clear. The league is healthy as ever.
  5. 3 rotation guys that can shoot for one rotation that cannot and 2 guys that dont play while only giving up one of their picks. I am not AT ALL a fan of Russell but its pretty good for them
  6. This is a huge point. Especially in his first few yrs MJ looked like a fucking alien compared to most of the other players. He was MUCH faster than most 2 guards and taller than the rest of them. He was so quick that in his first couple yrs he got travel calls made on him cause the refs couldnt believe his first step was that fast. The team had to submit slo-mo vids to the refs to show he was putting the ball down before he lifted his 2nd foot from a face up. In today's game the avg 2 is about the same height and stronger than him along with being just as athletic. MJ's physical advantage just wouldnt exist.
  7. Yeah I was at that gm too. They gave him the game ball and then he lost yds on the next play. When he broke the long run on the next play the Dome went absolutely nuts!!!!
  8. MJ famously refused to shoot for a playoff game to prove a point to his coach
  9. yeah man, both the jaylen's look like the wig mekhi phifer wore in 8 mile. The light skinned Jaylen is especially peculiar looking as well.
  10. They stopped the game for Steph just last yr. This is the biggest record the league has with its biggest star. Of course they were going to stop the game.
  11. They gave up quite a bit to get Harden though. As part of a 4-team trade, traded by the Houston Rockets to the Brooklyn Nets; the Brooklyn Nets traded Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince to the Cleveland Cavaliers; the Brooklyn Nets traded Rodions Kurucs, a 2021 1st round draft pick, a 2022 1st round draft pick (Tari Eason was later selected), a 2023 1st round draft pick, a 2024 1st round draft pick, a 2025 1st round draft pick, a 2026 1st round draft pick and a 2027 1st round draft pick to the Houston Rockets; the Brooklyn Nets traded Caris Levert to the Indiana Pacers; the Cleveland Cavaliers traded a 2024 2nd round draft pick to the Brooklyn Nets; the Cleveland Cavaliers traded Dante Exum and a 2022 1st round draft pick (MarJon Beauchamp was later selected) to the Houston Rockets; the Houston Rockets traded a 2023 2nd round draft pick to the Indiana Pacers; and the Indiana Pacers traded Victor Oladipo to the Houston Rockets. 2024 2nd-rd pick is CLE own 2021 1st-rd pick is a right to swap, did not convey 2023 1st-rd pick is a right to swap 2025 1st-rd pick is a right to swap 2027 1st-rd pick is a right to swap 2022 1st-rd draft pick is MIL own 2023 2nd-rd pick is HOU own
  12. LOL You got me crunching numbers now. Luka could avg 35ppg for the next 10 yrs without missing a single game and still be 1k short of Cap
  13. LOL, it absolutely is diminishing 38k. Bron has played 20 yrs and has been a top 5-10 scorer pretty much every yr and he is just getting there. And he had the benefit of the 3p shot
  14. KD is not playing another 7 yrs. He is breaking down physically. Luka has 8500 pts in his 5 yrs currently. He would need to play at his current level for 15 more yrs and that would still only be about 34k. He is already missing about 10-15 gms a yr. I'm pretty confident he wont end up anywhere close to Cap. I think you are really underestimating what it takes to get to 38k and beyond.
  15. When has a Kyrie led team done anything except win the lottery? You seriously think it would be a good idea for him to be the leader in a locker room of all those kids?!?!?!
  16. I never saw Russell play but more importantly there are quite a few warts on his resume to rule him out IMO. Granted the game was totally different and the off court things were out of his control but that doesnt change my POV. Magic's career was cut short but even in his 12 yrs he went to finals 9 times winning 5 and was the driving force behind the Laker success. That last season he dragged an awful team to the Finals. Go look at that roster.
  17. Correct!!! There are 4 people that have a claim to GOAT IMO. I can listen to arguments for any of them. Magic, Cap, MJ, LBJ. Anyone I'm really not trying to hear.
  18. Malone is about 1500 pts behind. That is one full 82 gm season at 18+/ppg. He avg'd 13 in his last season but even then only played 42 gms. And even if you want to say Malone "almost" did it, he is one guy in the history of the league. Kobe is next but he is almost 5k behind Kareem. None of the other guys who "got close" were still top players in the league when they did. LBJ is still at the absolute worse top 10 player and still going strong. He should with relative ease get to 40k Further, if its just cause of guys entering the league at 18 with current medicine and training why is no one else even close? Melo and Durant are the only other active players in the top 30. they are 10k and 12k behind LBJ respectively. There is a reason this record lasted for almost 40 yrs.
  19. Wack basketball fans nowadays. You shouldn't need to be a fan of LBJ to truly appreciate him passing Kareem. That was one of the most unbreakable records out there and he will not only pass it but barring a major injury, obliterate it. He will finish 2-3k beyond Kareem maybe more as he isnt even really slowing down yet.
  20. 3 first round picks for OG is seriously stupid
