1990 Clos du Mesnil is one of the best wines I’ve ever had. I’m jealous of your 2000.

It was a good bottle. The fruit is mostly gone but the tertiary flavors are all solid. Still quite acidic and the tannins are soft but still present. A well kept bottle probably has another 25 years or more left in it. Overall an excellent wine.

Not tapa but I used to be able to upload to imgbb and copy paste. Now it doesn’t work regardless of what I try and I haven’t yet been inclined to figure out why. Just know that there are some special wines being consumed over the next two weeks and if I get enough gumption I’ll figure it out. Maybe @immamac can give me a couple of quick pointers to help out.- Wine

The critique of his skillset is probably pretty accurate, but tying that to his 40% completion percentage in the senior bowl is a stretch. There were several well-placed balls thrown by Sam that were just dropped by his receivers. I don't recall the exact number, but it had to be 3-4.- Wine
I like Syrah, so I usually go with K Vintners and pretty much anything from Crozes-Hermitage. K does have some >$50 bottlings, but their $30 bottles (Milbrandt, The Deal, Motor City Kitty) are all very good daily drinkers. Usually in stock at Total Wine.- Wine

Damn good looking steak. Where do you buy yours?- Brisket/wagyu opinions
Absolutely no reason to pay for A5 for a brisket. Just buy 20 oz or so of strip and cut them up into 2x4 slices and sear them. Keep the grease in the pan and cook some eggs in the morning. Also, true A5 is from Japan and comes with a copy of the birth certificate from the cow, including a “fingerprint” of its nose.- Tennessee fires Jeremy Pruitt for cause, Fulmer to step down as AD, Josh Heupel hired
