You imbeciles that forget that recruiting and roster management aren't snapshots, usually whenever there is some exception somewhere that you get excited about bubbling up, can go fuck yourselves.
Blue was a take. He then got kicked off of his team/quit to "focus on college". The staff expressed displeasure at that development. He asked to come back to the team. His team told him to fuck off. He looked into getting recruited by other powers, none of whom showed him a lick of interest (those dumb motherfuckers!!! hahahahaha, Greenspoint had it the whole way!!! haahaha!!!). Texas pursued Jam Miller and Leveon Moss in earnest to replace Blue. Miller bailed for somewhat comical reasons that I've posted about here several times and Moss was bought for numbers that didn't make sense to anyone but aggies. So Texas and Blue were left with each other.
Blue shows up to campus with an attitude and expects early PT. Whines a bunch. Gets mentored by Johnson and Robinson, calms down and works hard, showing signs of growth. Then Blue announces that he's going to enter the portal. He waits to see all of the outreach from other schools before filing his paperwork. No one of consequence makes any sort of NIL offer (those dumb motherfuckers!!! hahahahaha, Greenspoint had it the whole way!!! haahaha!!!). Texas tells him if he enters the portal, good luck, but there is no coming back. They'd be happy to keep him otherwise. He decides to come back in the spring of 2023 and works hard, showing glimpses of hope.
Guy starts getting snaps in semi-relevant time and looks fine, then fumbles on a close out drive against Wyoming. Buzz that he's in the doghouse. Not a single fucking poster on this entire site is telling us anything positive or hopeful about Blue being some sort of force during the middle of the 2023 seasons (those dumb motherfuckers!!! haahahahah, Greenspoint was thinking, not posting, but he was thinking he had it the whole way, hahahahahaha!!!!). Then Brooks gets hurt. Blue shows promise in his snaps and closes out the year well, except for the UW fumble. Now there is transfer interest. Blue locks up NIL help and is here for another year. Greenspoint and his ilk smirk as they realize they've fucking crushed this guy's journey .
The staff, people around Blue, Robinson, NIL, recruiting, everyone thought at multiple points in time this guy was gone. He even announced he was leaving with a social media megaphone. This is the exception to the rule, and good for us and Blue with the way it's turned out.
Not that it changes anything in this, but he was absolutely invited back to the team by the team captains, and the coaches said no. This is coming first hand from one of the captains on that team that I know personally. So the idea that the team didn’t want him back is a false narrative pushed by the coaches.

I would enjoy this thread more if posts included approximate prices for the wine displayed.
Download the Wine-Searcher app and easily look them up. When @milkman posts, prepare your anus.

So I’m looking to smoke my first turkey breast soon, what is the benefit of the netting? Helps it Hold shape better? Looks dang good
It's packaged with the netting, and yes, it helps to hold the shape. I just use the frozen Butterball turkey breasts that you can find pretty much anywhere.

Serious question - has Weigman's camp or the ATM United group announced his return? Things seem really, really quiet in that regard.
Also, I am still fascinated by the scorching hawt takes that their roster is going to be really talented in 2024. They've lost a ton of talent over the last two cycles and they have not replenished it with quantity or quality. I hear people in the media still referencing talent as well. Eventually, someone is going to dig a little deeper and see what we've seen, right? I guess I hope not. I hope they open 2024 ranked, again, and then collapse.
I have a source that’s about as close as you can get, and it seems like not only is he staying, he’s also enamored with Klein. I’m not sure why there hasn’t been something more public put out at this point.

Friend who lives there told me to avoid staying in Roppongi, said its vibe isn’t mine. We are calm, don’t stay out late and and higher end shoppers. I have no idea if that’s true, but he’s lived there now 11 years.
I wouldn’t call Roppongi a late night area. I’m not sure what your friend is referring to. It’s definitely quiet there around the Ritz.

Buuuuump.
Going next year - likely 6 days in Tokyo, 3 in Kyoto and 1 in Hiroshima.
Any Tokyo hotel recs? Id like to stay around Tokyo Station I think (unless you can talk me out of that, don’t want to stay in thr most busy area) and my budget is less than $750/night. Most places we stay are more (the Andez, Four Seasons, Conrad, Peninsula are all $900+).
Spend a little more and stay at The Ritz in Roppongi. Then walk over to Robataya one night for an awesome dinner.

I did Saga last weekend and it was very good. It was rainy, though, so the view sucked.
I also went to Eleven Madison Park, which was the best meal I've ever had. Absolutely incredible.
I went to EMP a few years ago before the menu changed to vegetarian. I've been reluctant to go back since the menu change - it sounds like you would recommend it with the vegetarian menu?

I know for certain the family was trying to keep this quiet, for whatever reason. I have a very close connection to them that I won't reveal, but when I mentioned this going around the boards this morning, "That's already out there!?!" was the response.

New Houston Restaurant Recommendations

For the sushi lovers, some of the best sushi I’ve had lives here in Houston. Hidden Omakase and their offspring Sushi by Hidden and Norigami are as good as anything I’ve had.
