  2. As a reminder and addition to this point.  Smart is about to play for b2b national titles.
Smart is far from a good coach.  He was still playing man-2 with cover-grass zones and having his defense swap sides of the field based on strength a few years ago.  He reached out to Todd Orlando to help him modernize his defense. He got humiliated by Tom Herman while having at least a dozen NFLers on his roster.
But he's really good at using bags to stockpile talent.

Yeah, mf is pretty good at calling timeouts too

  3. Your initial assertions are not based on science. There is scant evidence the virus was actually manipulated. While there is some evidence that could be consistent with a lab release, it is important to recognize that a lab release and natural mutation are not mutually exclusive. In fact, in the event this was a lab release, the most likely explanation is that it was a lab release of a collected, rather than manipulated, sample. And, based on available data, there is still a good probability that this was not a lab release.

Maybe I’m misremembering but in a foia release people involved in initial response and sequencing making observations that the original strain was so perfectly suited for transmission between humans that the probability of naturally occurring mutation was infinitesimal.

Exactly. The Garrett/Linehan/Moore coaching tree for offense has to be one of the worst ever. Not one single guy is any good at calling an offensive game or gameplanning. Or adjustments. And we have had all 3 in succession for over a decade.

Just like Garrett did, Moore had a little bit of a fast start when he began. He was the boy wonder. Once he was figured out quickly, the season unraveled and he's never adjusted. At all.

Our offense works when individual guys win their assignments. We don't deceive anyone. No complex routes. Everything is just bland and generic. This can work at lower levels when you just out talent the other team. NFL doesn't work like that. Hence why we always come up short in the playoffs against good teams. We never adjust once they figure out our offense (which usually doesn't take long).

After the Rams playoffs game, they came out and talked about how they knew exactly what we were doing on both sides of the ball. Infuriating.

People say they don't want Mike to take over playcalling or the offense and focus on the offense. Fuck that. Any thing to get Kellen's hands off the game is the better. But this is Jerry being desperate to have his own version of Landry. A long tenured coach he can take credit for. Hell, he hired Garrett before he hired Wade in 2007. After not one team wanted Garrett. The plan was always to have Garrett take over after a few years. And I fully believe Garrett sabotaged Wade in the final year. He wanted that job. Didn't matter if Garrett lost every game to end 2010. He was always going to be our next coach. Sad because we had talent for Super Bowls in his tenure but he's so terrible, he offset any of that. Great coaches or even good ones, can get the most out of the talent and make it work. Garrett/Kellen are the opposite. They have a lot of talent and get the least out of it.

That's a lot of words and I get the bitching but since Dak has been back we are looking pretty good
