  1. Miami getting left out this year isn’t nearly as controversial as Florida State getting left out last year. Hilarious.
  2. These pundits are all dipshits. It’s a fucking 12 team playoff. Every year, there are about 5 teams that have a good shot to win it all, followed by a bunch of other teams that would need every break in the world to get a title. And we’re bitching about team 12 here? All these teams in that range are flawed as hell.
  3. Hayes is a dumbass. Ole Miss has THREE losses. One of them to 4-8 Kentucky. At some point your bad losses have to mean something.
  4. Clemson wins and the committee takes the easy way out and keeps SMU in the field, eliminating the three loss SEC teams altogether. It would also dilute the field in our favor. Lol jk Bama is getting in.
  5. Different scenario this time - Georgia had a make or break game in Austin, we were coming off of OU while they got Miss State to warm up, and Ewers is healthier now. Texas 24, Georgia 20. 25 attempts for 145 yards.
  6. I agree but it’s probably a mandatory consideration when you’re trying to tiebreak 3 teams that all have 3 losses. You can poke holes in each team’s résumé all day long. They have 3 losses!
  7. Miller Moss is so meh.
  8. Here’s how I see it, based on an assumption they won’t penalize a CCG loser from one of the P4 conferences by knocking them out of the field In no matter what: Texas, Georgia, Oregon, Penn State, ND, Indiana, Ohio State (lol this system sucks), Tenn, SMU, Big 12 winner, MWC winner. That leaves a spot. Clemson gets it if they win. If not, I could see Miami getting it just so they don’t have to deal with the SEC 3-loss issue. I don’t think BYU will be above Miami when the rankings come out tonight, and they can’t help their case. I could also see the committee picking SCar on the hot hand theory if they decide they need another SEC team.
  9. Don’t see how Michigan scores unless Ohio State helps them out a whole lot.
  10. Hard to compare - Deion was already a head coach and got to bring of bunch of his players with him, including a ready QB and a two way star. Sark didn’t have that benefit. CU Year 1 went completely off a cliff once they got into conference play. I know Sark lost a bunch of games in a row but most of those at least felt competitive. The two Year 2s feel similar. Deion going to be hard pressed to make the Year 3 leap like Sark did with Shadeur and Hunter leaving. It’ll be interesting to see if they roll with the highly rated QB croot they just flipped from USC or if Deion shops in the portal for a one year solution.
  11. Eberflus was two steps away from the ref, watching it all unfold.
  12. I’m playing JSN over Ladd at this point.
  13. Pretty sure it was Rollo Tomasi
  14. I have a hard time seeing a 10-3 Big 12 champ getting left out in favor of Tulane. The one legit path for the Big 12 to get shut out involved Army going undefeated and that’s done.
  15. Lamar and Henry did enough. I clinched a playoff spot.
  16. Finished Hyperion Cantos. Phew.
  17. So they let Hurley bitch all game long then decide to give the tech in OT? That seems dumb.
  18. My god Memphis
  19. Defense paints a masterpiece. Texas 27, Aggy 6. Texas 193 passing yards.
  20. Im in one league where we play two games a week - 12 team league. The guy that has Barkley is 22-2.
  21. I need 31 combined from Lamar and Derrick Henry so I’m guessing the Ravens get shut out.

    CFB Week 1

That Wake L was damn ridiculous!
  23. Outside of Okie State, Houston, and the injured version of Utah, the other teams in the Big 12 can beat anyone else in the conference. The conference standings are pretty crazy.
  24. Sanders took a cheap shot - no flag - which led to everything else there. Game was chippy as hell on both sides and Kevin’s bumfuck crew couldn’t control anything per the usual. Devin Neal was the fucking man today. Good crap he could not be tackled.
