I used energy ogre for a while but ended up dropping it. I didn't really see the value I was getting for $10/month

If your friend is a W-2 employee then I find it very hard to believe that he is not paying taxes. He may not be filing tax returns, but he would be getting IRS notices out the ass if he has W-2 wages and no withholdings.

I’ve had this Honda for 4+ years and it’s been great. Probably the best push mower I’ve ever used.

Isn't advisory pretty hard to get into? Also someone said with my geology degree that if I go into oil/gas to try to get onto cost control. Do you know anything about that?
It’s more difficult than audit or tax but not impossible to get into. Can’t help you on the O&G stuff -

Thanks for all the replies so far. I think the biggest reason for me wanting to go straight into industry is because finishing a M.S. in Accountancy will not make me eligible to sit for the CPA exam since my Bachelor's is in geology. The M.S. programs seem to be 36 credits, whereas to sit for the CPA exam I need 30 upper-level accounting classes plus 24 business classes.
I'm not even sure Big 4 will look at me for internships/full-time since I won't be close to being eligible to sit for the exam. I've heard industry doesn't care as much for entry-level, but I could be wrong
You don't need a CPA to be hired on as an associate. A lot of people in your situation take night classes at a community college to knock out their cpa eligibility requirements. For tax you don't need a credential (CPA or EA) until you make manager. I think audit requires a CPA to make senior associate but not too sure.
I started my career at PwC tax and have since moved to a mid market firm. I tend to agree with the logic of starting your career in big 4 and then moving on after your promotion to senior associate or after a promotion to manager.

Any of you assholes had success with Hotspot Shield VPN and MLB.TV subscriptions as a workaround the geographic blackout?
Last season I used unlocator and mlb.tv app on my xbox one -- worked really well

Appears that a crew hit a couple streets in the neighborhood. At least 2 cars stolen, numerous reports of vehicles being sacked. Both our cars were outside of the garage unfortunately, and both got hit, but they made off with my truck. The hood is behind a gate with cameras at the entrance, and many of my neighbors have video set ups, so I think it's just a matter of searching archives before somebody finds something on tape. Some motherfucker either has huge fucking balls, shit for brains, or likely some combination of both. Wish they would have taken the wifes car, we need to replace that thing anyways, but my truck had many years of good life left in it.
Sorry to hear that...hope you had comprehensive coverage on it.

Any thoughts on f150 drivetains?
5.0 w 6 speed
old ecoboost w 6 speed
new ecoboost w 10 speed
are there others?
I have an 18 4x4 with the 10 speed and 2.7 ecoboost. It's way more fun to drive than my brothers 5.0 V8 6 speed. I'm a little nervous about the reliability of the 10spd, but so far it has been great. The 3.5 is a BEAST but the 2.7 is pretty damn fun to drive. Getting 19.3mpg combined so far in my 2018.
I think I'm going to get the wife one of the new expeditions with the 3.5 ecoboost and 10 spd. They are pricey tho

Hey guys, I've been a deer and dove/bird hunter my whole life. Live in the Houston area and just got a new bird dog pup a couple months ago (boykin spaniel). I have never been much of a duck hunter, but would like to start going on some hunts. Any suggestions on where to start? I've looked at a few hunting clubs online, but I'm thinking going out with a guide 5 or 6 times would make more sense for me than a lease. Any suggestions for good outfitters near Houston?
Also what gear do I need to pick up? I already have a good shotgun for ducks, but no waders, calls, etc.

Spytech A119 - have gotten in two wrecks since I got the camera and it has paid off big time. Both accidents were not my fault, but the other drivers lied about what happened. Having video takes the he said/she said out of the insurance claim process.

Ford fuckers: is there a way to buy a new Ford (say F-250) and get a better price than my local, shitty dealership? Is anyone doing fly-and-drives on Ford vehicles?
try searching on autotrader. I've bought two F150s in Houston and always gotten a great deal. If you're in Texas I'd look in Houston.
