What’s the story here? Did Four Roses take their standard 100 proof, single barrel and use their unique recipes for a new lineup? If so, I really like that.

If this is intended to replace higher proof, older store picks, I’m not a fan.

They intend to release each of their unique mashbill as single barrels proofed to 100 like the OBSV has been for as long as I can remember.  I think the first three are 2 low ryes (OESK and OESO) and a high rye OBSF. It is my understanding none of these replace the barrel proofs typically released as private barrels.

Really have no idea. I'm trying to go into the fitting totally agnostic. I would assume I'll be looking at Titleist, Mizuno, TaylorMade, Srixon and Ping. Somewhere between a "player's iron" and a game improvement iron. Not interested in the juiced up/lower lofted sets and would prefer more traditional loft profiles

(I do kind of have a negative feeling about Callaway and Cobra, and would never go PXG)

Not like we’re pining to add 19 handicaps to the stable 😆. Do second the blended iron set. I’ve got player improvement 4-5i, tour 6-8i and essentially blades 9i-GW.

Plan to replace my driver this year.  Think I’ve aged out of the Epic Triple Diamond with a TX shaft.

I happened to catch a little bit of Kris Boyd's "Think" last night on NPR:

    The politics of school vouchers

Despite hard evidence that they [don't] work, school voucher programs are still gaining steam. Josh Cowen, professor of education policy at Michigan State University, joins host Krys Boyd to discuss why "school choice" is such a hot-button issue, the influential people behind its growth, and why this push is signaling distrust of public schools. His book is "The Privateers: How Billionaires Created a Culture War and Sold School Vouchers."

One of the takeaways from his research was that there is a direct correlation between spending and improvement of outcomes with public education (from test score performance to later life successes, health, and reduced crime); whereas while school voucher "competition" does have a history of marginal improvement, if the money diverted to vouchers was instead directly investedto the schools it would increase the improvement exponentially.
