  1. Wow, $5/hour, that's low.

I had a 4 day DFW poker bender a couple of weeks ago and hit up Texas Card House, Poker House, and Shuffle214. They each ran some kind of promo that got the rate down to $10-11/hour if you bought several at a time. TCH games were nuts. I sat at a 2/5 table that probably had $50k on the table. Shuffle214 had the fewest games running, but had a $50 day pass.

After I saw the initial hit by Jokic, I thought he went a little too Serbian. But the fact that it’s the Heat, a Morrii twin, and an even dirtier cheap shot that proceeds Nikola’s? Dude didn’t go far enough.

this. fuck morris and fuck the heat.

Indeed. Betting into the nuts one hand and folding to air another is not a winning formula. Can be really hard to get a read on people on these streams sometimes. I thought an old man was a nit only to later learn he was a madman. In retrospect it’s obvious, but in the game when he was never showing I just read him completely wrong

do you have your phone on these? are you watching the stream with it or have someone texting your previous hands?

  4. soooooooooooooooooooo, old putt has had a recent windfall of money. instead of saving it or blowing it on sugarbabies, i want to put it all into crypto and see what happens.

if you had $10,000, where would you you put it and how do i get it there ?
Voyager app is super easy. Throw on there, check out the rewards program, and spread it around.

It’s EDC weekend. Room rates are way up. Let us know how it is.

    It was good.

Got in Thursday afternoon, took a Lyft to the hotel. Crockfords lobby has it's own entrance/lobby/bar/elevator. No wait to check in, lobby was really nice. Bar was also, we had a couple of drinks in there at some point. The lobby is very chill. Compared to the Conrad which is just a short walk, which was more 'lively' I guess. A lot more people there, had some music playing, had a nice bar, but a different feel or whatever.

At check in Crockfords does his special welcome tea thing where the colors change when its poured. It was fine. They also give you this special "key" that works as a room key but also gets you 'special' treatment places. And you get to keep it when you leave. I think it helped my wife get a reservation at the spa on short notice and maybe a discount. It might have helped us get into the nightclub there one night, but I'm not really sure how busy it was. Staff was great.

The room was...nice. We had a group of 14 there, half of us in Crockfords and half in Conrad. I don't think there was a big difference, for a 30% higher room rate. Don't get me wrong, it was really nice, definitely the nicest I've stayed at in Vegas. I've only been with friends, and we usually do Caesars cause of the sports book and location. (This was the wife's first Vegas trip.) We had a pool and Strip view (61st floor) and the wife really liked that. The hotel is at the far north end of the strip so you could see alot. Problem with that is that we really didn't want to walk down the strip much. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. I don't sleep well in hotels, but slept great while there. It was a standard room, but seemed a little bigger than the Conrad equivalent. It has a nice big smart TV, a nespresso machine, and a nice minifridge. Bathroom has big, nice finish out, big shower, towels seemed 'nicer' etc.  So, yea, it was really nice, but not sure it was worth the increased price.

It being EDC weekend provided some entertainment with some nice people watching while on the casino floor. We never had to wait on a craps or blackjack table ($25min). We had great interactions with the dealers. In fact, Saturday evening  6 of us posted up before dinner at table for a while, and I don't think I've laughed as much as I did with the 2 dealers that were rotating with us. Great staff/dealers throughout the whole place for the weekend.

Wife said her spa day on Saturday was as good as she's ever had. She hasn't been to a ton, but has done some of the nicer ones in Dallas, She was there several hours and would have stayed longer but they don't serve alcohol there, despite attempts by the group.

Sportsbook is nice, but small. We reserved a 4 couch set up Saturday with a view of the main screens and a 4 tv setup in front of us. We had a minimum $ to spend but with a group it was easy. They only had two of those, several high-tops and then some lounge chairs to reserve with minimum $ to spend.  Staff there was great, app was easy to use also so make bets if you wanted.

Poker room was also nice, but a little small. Nice tables and chairs, high ceilings, decent TV setup. Never had to wait long for a game even at peak times, and they had several games spread including a high roller area that had 300/600 mixed going that @TXSooner518 will probably hit up.

They have this food court area with several options. Lots of asian fare which we hit up late night a couple of times. Everything we got was good. We had breakfast/brunch at two of the onsite restaurants (The Kitchen and Suns Out), very good.

One dinner we ate at Viva, the Mexican food place there. We had a private room in the back. Food was really good, staff was great.

Pool area is really nice. We were there for a large part of Friday. We had a cabana which was nice, staff was great, people watching was good. Tits were out, it was pretty hopping.

Overall, we had a great time. The hotel/casino was good.

  6. Junes is a huge Spurs fan. You’d hardly guess it unless you go way back with the station. Hell, it’s hard to tell he’s a gigantic OU fan except he talks about going to the RRS or other Sooner games with Corby. He still does a really good job of staying objective.

Absolutely not. Junior injects nearly every NBA segment with spurs bullshit. It’s annoying, cause he claims he’s an NBA expert or whatever, but he doesn’t really know shit except for historical Spurs info.

And, yea, he’s not near Corby level with OU on air fandom, but he does it too.
