  1. Well, there is that. Lol

It ain’t my cuppa tea either. Put it in Aspen or Jackson Hole, and there will be no shortage of California millionaires willing to buy it at that silly price.

I drive that 'new' Barton Springs Road about 10x/week.  During both peak and off-peak hours, and pleasant as this Spring has been.  I have not seen a singly cyclist.  Lots of scooter riders, but one single, solitary pedal-bike.  Somebody's nephew apparently sold us a shit tone of those white plastic pylon deals and here we are.  It's made the turning situation a bit better, I'll give it that.  But the lane compression has now effectively made Toomey Road the 2nd lane of Barton Springs and that fucking road.  It's so narrow that when it's full of street parking on both side, it's very difficult for two cars to pass one another at the same time.  Bottles the mind.

Those stupid & annoying white plastic pylon dividers are littering streets like Neenah up here in Wilco.
yes, it is in the city limits of Austin.

Woman accused of posing as Uber driver in downtown Austin, drugging and robbing men

    https://cbsaustin.com/news/local/woman-accused-of-posing-as-uber-driver-in-downtown-austin-drugging-and-robbing-men#

A woman accused of posing as an Uber driver and robbing men in downtown Austin used stolen credit cards to make over $33,000 worth of fraudulent purchases, according to court documents.

An arrest affidavit said 41-year-old Destini Cionne Robinson is a suspect in at least two incidents that took place in Austin’s entertainment district.

    She’s such a charming lass……

Not my dream house but I'm a fan of the hunting lodge genre.  The biggest drawback is it's in Okla-fucking-homa.

Yeah, it’s out of place there…….more suitable for Colorado.

Why do you assume I'm young?  I wish I was.  I was born in a hospital here that closed long, long ago.  If you've been here long enough, you know which one that is.  Even the building is long gone.  I remember those stories and so many more.  The teacher and her son that were kidnapped while leaving church and later murdered.  The pair of teen boys that were shot execution style by one of them's stepfather and his hitman at the old propane place that used to be out on 36 North for insurance money.  The stepson died, the other played dead and survived and helped get the murderers convicted.  The young lady that disappeared in the early 90s and was never seen again.  The nanny that murdered a baby and then fled to Mexico, never to be caught.  That was featured multiple times on America's Most Wanted.  The high school kids from very prominent families (the current mayor's being one of them) that raped a young girl in the shower at the country club and more or less got away with it.  That was featured on A Current Affair in the 90s and in Texas Monthly.  The nurse who grew up in Brenham who let her boyfriend beat her young daughter to death and did nothing about it.  That happened in Conroe, and was a huge story in Houston for a long time.  It's still brought up in the media every few years when she comes up for parole.  Her sister leads the charge to keep her in prison.  I actually dated her briefly way back when we were kids.  I feel dirty typing that knowing what she would later do.  What about the whorehouse out on 105 that was burned to the ground by the sheriff and local clergy because the madam wouldn't shut it down?  Ya, sure, nothing weird ever happens in Brenham.

You forgot the Blue Bell listeria scandal.

  6. Pretty cool house with the rustic mountain cabin vibe.
I’d prefer a different main floor surface - like wood planks - instead of rough flagstone. That stuff is for exterior patios & outdoor kitchen areas, IMO.

  7. Mine was this 1852 $1 gold coin (bottom center) my Grandma kept in the back of her cafe cash register starting in the 1930s when FDR went off the gold standard.
when the cafe was sold along with Grandpa's auto repair garage in 1958, she gave it to me - and I eventually inherited her cash register.

Seeing as how my grandson’s tux rental fee was $250 for his cousin’s wedding - and he is a slim fit type (unlike his grandpa) - Mrs. Brat & I thought it would be a smart idea to order one of these inexpensive tuxes for him to have on hand just in case any of his friends get married in the near future.
Or if he and his girlfriend get serious….
(He can buy his own Italian pimp shoes though)

Guys, are the seat-picking times you're alluding to for OU? If so, that makes me nervous since I haven't been given a time. If it's for seats in DKR, nm since that isn't relevant to me.

    Am wondering about that too.

Dang ol man I tell you what man, if gold and silver keep climbing, I'm gonna have to start collecting Indian Head Cents again just so I can afford to hang out in a coin shop.

Guess my WW2 era steel pennies are just gonna rust away.
But I do have a Planter’s Peanut can full of wheat Pennies somewhere in the back of a shelf in the safe.
