  1. kinda what I mean. I keep hearing the NFL bit and that he can make every throw but that his problem is consistency, and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, because I don't think he can make every throw. and those windows don't get bigger at the next level. the DL doesn't get shorter.
  2. his NFL career is going to be very interesting to watch.
  3. it's not 100% what Sark wants if the deep pass isn't connecting. all the way from Matt Leinart, that's been a staple of what Sark does. every game, there will be 2 or 3 moments when if a QB makes a good to great throw, it's a deep TD
  4. saying Quinn hasn't met his hype isn't some sort of slander some are making it out to be. some of you are also building up Georgia's defense to be some sort of monster that can't be dominated by a QB. that isn't true. this is not the NFL. he was the #1 QB recruit in his class. the standard for that sort of talent/hype isn't hidden. not in college. when those players who played at that level stepped on the field, the question wasn't how were they going to manage the game, it was how will the defense stop them. Quinn doesn't invite those sort of questions. I doubt any good defense watches his film and actually has any sense of fear. it is possible Arch also doesn't live up to the hype with extended viewing (we've been here before with Gilbert), but his unknowns are more promising than what we know about Quinn.
  5. all the contenders look better on offense than us.
  6. think this is quite true
  7. you could very well argue we lost because we didn't score the TD on that play.
  8. if anything Sark does costs us Manning, he will meet the same fate that Herman did.
  9. Yes, making the playoffs is great, but we had a chance to make history, winning the conference in our 1st year, didn't do it. Those are the sort of achievements you get to crow about for life. You need to be upset about letting things like that slip through the fingers
  10. we deserve trolls like this.
  11. Amen. for all his vaunted play calling, I don't understand why he fails to read the situation and call something that doesn't have a higher probability of the defense making a play. we don't have any plays that can push the ball forward without needing a mini soap opera to unfold in the backfield?
  12. that's been said about Sarkisian for a long time now
  13. that's what you do on 1st, not 3rd
  14. so predictable when Arch comes in
  15. we did everything to let them escape.
  16. guy was wide open in the end zone
  17. how fucking stupid can you be
  18. I'll be reliving that should been pick 6 for life
  19. If every doctor worked for free in the US, you would save a total of 15% of the US healthcare expenditure. This is part of the frustration. Front and center as the face of the problem, and not even close to being true.
  20. Always a mistake to think violence has a way of staying along its intended path, even if you think it's righteous. This guy shot the CEO, and I can understand the general reaction and sentiment expressed by most, if we are assuming it has to do with the CEO's job description, but I will wager this is the same sort of person that would have shot the doctor involved if a bad outcome was obtained. In my experience, it is not uncommon to be lumped in with the insurance company when care isn't going the way the patient wants. This might be the first CEO I've heard of suffering that fate, but it is not unheard of unfortunately for providers to be assaulted and shot. Benjamin Mauck got shot by his patient in the exam room. Preston Phillips got shot by a patient unhappy about his persistent back pain. Michael Davidson got shot by the son of one of his patients, because he thought he was at fault for a complication she sustained. There are other examples. My patient population skews heavily towards the knife and gun club, and have had 2 bring firearms into the hospital. I know I've asked myself if it is worth managing such a highly volatile group. We are already estimated to be facing physician shortages longterm. And when more people start opting out into concierge medicine alone, I don't think many of you are going to be happy with the results. Just my perspective.
