Bought the 40v(4Ah) Ryobi weed eater last year and the 40v(6Ah) mower in June. Love both and haven't had any issues with power or finishing the lawn(mostly St. Augustine) with the battery that came with the mower. I was really tired of dealing with gas so this has been great for me.

I’ve got both of mine (Moderna, a few months ago). I might have misplaced my card tho. Surely Walgreens keeps some kind of records?
My puppy actually got a hold of mine and tore it to pieces. -
12 yr old just got her first vaccination yesterday. We all had COVID in late January(probably from school). My wife(no pics), 15 yr old son and I had no issues with the vaccination. My daughter who got COVID, but who was the only asymptomatic one of us in January is feeling it today. Mostly tired with spurts of energy and a sore arm.

Wasn't he there to guard the grail? Well it doesn't need guarding anymore. Can't he just leave?
He will die. My impression was that he was drinking from the grail all along and that is what kept him alive so long. Grail fell down the giant hole, so he will die.

Hit a dispensary last night just to see what’s what.
Prices on flower are running $60-$70 for an 1/8th, plus tax.
Edibles are running about 40¢/mg, so a 100mg pack (10 x 10mg) is $40.
Half gram vape carts are $60-$80.
Concentrates start at $60/gram.
Rape, but legal.
If you watch for daily specials you can come out better. For example a dispensary has a special today for $79 1/4’s.
Funny seeing $60 for an 1/8th next to it.
Zips are $400 +/-, for reference.
I did pick up a few samples. They’re alright. Better than expected even. Mine is much better and less costly though.
In Colorado the gummies are $17 for 10 x 10mg. The fast acting ones are a little more at $25 (20 x 5mg)

I really enjoyed it. My daughter who groans about everything MCU even liked it. The first 45 min went by quick with lots of action and I thought the chemistry of the actors was great. I'll want to watch it again in a few months, but damn it felt good to be in a theater.
-
Going in about 30 min with the family. My 15 yr old son lives everything MCU and my 12 yr old daughter could care less but is going. I think everyone is ready to get back to theaters.

Have a friend who has a 6 month old that isn't sleeping very well. He started to go down this road but couldn't do it in the end. He has a video with the unwrapped slice and about to go for it, but just didn't have the heart.

The tax comment made me go down a Nic Cage rabbit hole. I had absolutely no idea he was part of the Coppola clan. Is this common knowledge?
I think he played Anthony in the scene where Vito dies.

15 yr old son got his Pfizer #2 today. I had no problem with my 2nd Pfizer…A little over a month ago. We both had Covid in January. Still waiting for August when my 11 yr old will be 12.

Yeah, I'd echo that suggestion. Apparently 1978horn and I were at the same dance recital (late April, with Synergy?). It's a really pretty campus and can accommodate that amount easily in the amphitheater or inside and still have some breathing room for social distancing. Parking is a breeze and it's a quick jaunt from Central Austin.
Nope, a different one last weekend, which to me means they are open to all kinds of events. I would call them. It is covered as well, so if it rains there would be some shelter.
-
How about an amphitheater? Life Austin on 71 has a good size one that would allow for social distancing if desired. No idea if they allow use of it for the general public or if there is a cost. I have been to a dance recital there recently for my daughter, but am not a member there.

So sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.

Just listened to a segment on Deadline Whitehouse where they are saying radical Republicans are now starting to infiltrate school boards across the country with hopes of opening schools and getting rid of any curriculum/classes/teachers who talk about race, racial injustice, or social justice for minorities.
This really really weird, odd, baffling, and completely incorrect idea by radical Republicans that racism just either a.) doesn't exist anymore or b.) will go away if you stop talking about it just confirms their stupidity and wish to hold on to white supremacy.
The weird part about them being up in arms over Critical Race Theory is the theory does take into account White people since White is a race.
Yep, happening out in Dripping Springs. They successfully got one of their people elected this month. She ran on one issue, anti-masks as a MD. She is a psychiatrist. Someone also dug up some previous comments on social media from her that stated "in my professional opinion liberalism is a mental illness" The people that supported and campaigned for her are very don't teach anything about race in our schools.

I work in Cybersecurity for a US refiner. We are hearing that their business network was completely compromised. OT allegedly was not, but was shutdown as a precaution. Down since Friday morning, supposed to be back online by this Friday. The places that are fucked now are from panic buying. There are imminent supply issues for almost every SE state though. GA TN SC NC AL MS VA are most at risk and roughly in that order.
In-laws in NC saying they can’t get gas in Charlotte or Raleigh. Picture from a small station near their house.

Has it been established if tacos are sandwiches? Maybe it’s good enough for this thread? I made a pretty good fucking taco tonight, but don’t see a taco thread.

Pfizer to be approved for 12-15 next week. Source" a tweet I read citing a NYT article I didn't click
It feels like I shouldn't be and I am probably overthinking it, but is the risk higher for younger people to get it? I got my Pfizer #2 on Saturday and have had no issues, but when I start talking about my kids it feels different. I have a 15 yr old and almost 12 yr old, so the wife(no pics) and I will have to make that call soon. We didn't have any issues getting any other vaccines for the kids, this one just feels different for some reason.
I'm sure we will end up doing it for them, but I would be lying to myself to say that it isn't an internal struggle.
