They got the guy but also needed to pose with him for a photo…with him wearing an Eagles sweatshirt. So much wrong with this whole deal other than this murdering fugitive being captured. (I don’t know how to imbed Tweets anymore so I just screenshot two to make my point.) fugitive looked pretty beat up. Don’t really give a fuck as he stabbed to death the mother of his children in front of them but this needing to pose with him for a picture? The fuck?
How were they supposed to get clicks and likes it they didn’t pose with their quarry and share the pic?

So Roglic, Jonas, and Kuss all have stage wins in this Vuelta, and Kuss hangs on to the lead by a red one. What a race.

WOW!!!

God this climb is just fucking nasty
An accomplishment to climb it. And these psychos are racing up it.

Oh, he's hanging now. Stay tuned
All part of the plan. Stage win imminent.

Never change Soler
On the UAE team bus before the stage after the directions are given to the rest of the team: “And Marc, you do, well what you’re always going to do, sigh…”

I'm going to be pissed if Jonas tries to go after Sepp after Sepp worked so hard for him in the TDF. He's clearly stronger than Sepp at this time but maybe he wouldn't be if Sepp hadn't worked so hard for him in the TDF.Why would Jonas not go for a Tour/Vuelta double if it’s within reach? I would love to see Kuss hold on for the win, but cycling teams and their team leaders do not gift grand tour victories to domestiques, even super domestiques like Kuss, just because they’ve helped their leaders win the Giro and TdF. They are generally gifted permission to go for stage wins when if fits with the team objectives. Plus, what kind of pro wants a grand tour gifted to them by a stronger teammate? Jonas and TJV do not “owe” Sepp Kuss a victory by holding back. If Kuss can hang with, or even drop, Jonas on the Angliru, then he will prove to be the strongest rider and earn a legit victory. If Jonas takes enough time out of Kuss to take the lead, then that will have been part of the team plan all along. With all that said, go Sepp! Rip their fucking legs off tomorrow!

That was pretty damn satisfying to see Sark devise and execute an attacking and aggressive game plan in all phases. If that wasn’t arousing enough, the play calling was some of the best we’ve seen in quite some time. I can’t remember the last time I’ve felt that our offensive weapons were being used correctly and to maximum effect, and that the defense consistently brought pressure and disrupted the opposing QB. To be fair, Bama did their share of dick stepping in that game to affect the end result, but that performance by Sark and the team was legit progress and warrants optimism.

Indeed.
Second time in two days Jumbo has had four dudes on final climb, and only one was a domestique.
Several years ago, I didn’t think that anyone would be able to have a stacked team like the ones from Sky/Ineos. Now TJV has such an incredible roster that they can assemble these monster squads for grand tours that are proving to be almost unbeatable. If Kuss hangs on for the overall, they will have winners for all three grand tours on the same team. I never even consider that as a possibility on a single team.

Well, that was always going to happen. Thanks for playing, Bardet.

Good to see Remco give it a ride after yesterday
That’s real pro stuff. Hit the wall early one day falling out of GC contention, come back the next day and attack. Still stage wins out there.
-
My god, just how far will Evenepoel fall? Completely out of it unless some absolute disaster befalls Team JV. Edit - Never mind. He still has literally miles to climb with 14 minutes already elapsed behind the winner. That’s about as bad of a day you can have without a crash.

That was the most dominant stage of cycling I've ever witnessed.
Incredible. That has to be demoralizing to the other teams with GC and podium aspirations.

Kuss for real this time

Jonas is checking out looking like he is just riding Z2 lol.
Col du Tormalet, no biggie. Moderate effort.

There goes Carthy off the back. Wish I had a radio feed to hear Vaughters for the lulz.

That is a legit possibility. Real Death Star shit.

5:30 now, yikes
Holy shit. I took a few minutes to do some work and it went from 1:45 to over 5 minutes. Yeah, that changes things and makes a Kuss GC more likely if they can keep Soler at bay.

Curious to see if Remco and Quick Step are actually having a bad day or maybe saving up for a monster effort on the Tourmalet. We’ll see shortly…

Could Kuss actually win the Vuelta? I think it's possible!
It’s possible, but I’ll agree with Evenepoel and see Kuss as an outside chance for the GC. That said, I’d like to see what would happen if Seppy strapped in and made an earnest effort at keeping the GC lead.

This finish. Lol
Could have been an exciting finishing climb if the weather and resulting road conditions weren’t shite. It was cool to see cell phones to record official times once again in this Vuelta.

That’s no surprise. He said as much yesterday that he doesn’t want any gifts. All of this hand-wringing and and pouting is coming either from people letting their fandom obscure the reality that there is a major cycling competition going on, or from that lovely group of people who feel the need to be offended on behalf of Sepp Kuss, assuming that he expects the two strongest stage racers in the world, who happen to be his teammates and friends, not to do their best for their own results.
