I’m enjoying the show also. My wife’s book club read it and all thought it was a great book.
Not just chick lit, will be reading shortly.

Negative. He's committed as long as KU delivers the salary and facilities goods (Contracts for he and multiple assistants were renegotiated after last season, football complex was renovated this past offseason, and the rebuild of the west and north sides of Memorial Stadium will start at the end of this season).
And unlike at any time in my lifetime, our BMDs are ponying up - for him, his assistants, facilities, and NIL.
I get the assumption that he's gone given KU's history, but there's not been a time in my life when the wallets have opened up for the program like they have since his arrival. As long as that keeps happening (and it will), he stays.
What's the story with the original QB1 is his back that bad? Someone on Inside Texas (not a mod) said he is sandbagging so he can redshirt this year and go elsewhere.

It feels like the coaches told Maalik not to throw so hard, because he usually rifles the ball, but today they all seem to be floaters

I watched the Kansas-BYU highlights yesterday. While I'm not the film savant like the majority of the board (and Daddy88) I think the team speed of Texas will be too much for KU to overcome.
BYU was slow getting to the edge on defense and KU added 14 points on a scoop/score and pick 6.

I hope Auburn’s defense can score. The offense needs work and a new quarterback.

One of the best things about the site is it’s self regulating. Crowdsourcing the determined fuckwits is great.
Maybe more timeouts need to be given to keep threads on track.
I love it here and am happy to contribute to its upkeep
Looking forward to the Ann Arbor event, a short drive from STL.

Wulaw is spot on, looking forward to being in the sports bunker all day and drinking Tito’s mixed hopefully with Aggie tears

I think that it would be great. I usually follow the game thread pretty close but drop out when either the comments get ridiculous or I need another drink.

Maybe we can become Surly Bevo if we are tight with the Administration.

Looking forward to seeing the Redcat, just for spite.
Don’t think it will be necessary, just want to see Savion truck some fools.

Details on the FCB interaction for those following via this thread?
He was trying to zero in on deep balls and Sark said what play exactly, FCB stuttered and Sark basically said the passing game needs work.

Not worried about Baylor. Big 12 refs are a different story.

Give him a roofie, steal the lineup card and let the surly geniuses fill it out and turn it in. Release and untie Baker 15 minutes before game time tomorrow, push him out of your slow moving vehicle by the player gate at the stadium and then haul ass out of the parking lot. We're all counting on you.
I'm on it tomorrow. I think they are staying next door at the Intercontinental. I'll stake it out or go to the ribs/collard green place as soon as I find out where it is.
Chas and Yanier forever!
