are Venezuelans noticeably lower skillset than others that have been coming in?
Not sure about that but pre pandemic, my wife and I were on several cruises in the Caribbean and everywhere we went, any problem that existed were blamed on the Venezuelan refugees. Just the latest people off the boat in my opinion, no more or less skilled than anyone else.

Things are crazy everywhere. We moved from Austin to the suburbs west of St. Louis four years ago and our house had appreciated 25%.
Things will not get back to some semblance of normal until interest rates go back up.

The wife and I got the Moderna shot, son and daughter-in-law J&J.
worrying now about the 15 and 12 year old grandchildren, which one if any.

There’s “racial angst” about Fields dropping? That’s news to me. This isn’t entirely unexpected. The knock on him I heard was that his receivers were generally too wide open and some really stupid throws in a couple of games last year, particularly the Northwestern game. A whole week of listening to talk in OSU media and this is the first time I’ve heard anyone mention a racial component. We’re beyond the time of thinking QB’s need to be white. Unless you’re a racist. Are you a racist? You sound like you might be.
No, I was referring to a story by Kalein Jones on the Ringer.
he was the former UT beat writer for the Atlantic

It is criminal that Todd McShay still has a job after saying Jeven Sneed was a top 5 draft pick.

The Trey Lance pick should mute the racial angst over Justin Fields dropping.

Burton just posted that CDC issued the statement of support despite being told by the BMD's/Admin that it was not necessary.
Per Burton's sources, the search goes on.

I’m loving this game. All the ISU people I have met at UT games have been great. All the K-State fans have been absolute pricks.

When is Fox gonna figure out that their window is too small for college football?
What alternate channel is our game going to be on?
I suspect Fox Business 359 on Directv

I thought the end game management was spot on. The last thing I wanted to see is another kick-off returned for a touchdown and then a two-point conversion as time expired.

I thought it was a very good movie, it was over 2 hours long and never seemed to drag. Very straightforward view of the battle and not an ounce of political correctness.
Also added in some completely factual Japanese atrocities to make the Chinese partners happy.
Would definitely recommend it to parents with 9-14 year old kids. Not as gruesome as Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers.

Not really surprised, but I thought the weight loss and upper body development showed some buy in to the program.
Not a huge loss in the scheme of things.

Below is a link to salary information for all professional sports (Astro specific link), I like Reddick, but $13 million for next year is pretty steep.

Sanchez has had a lot of blister problems that they're going to have to figure out also.
Nolan Ryan had the same issue when he first came up to the Mets, he soaked his fingers in pickle brine. Things worked out okay for him.

I played at Delmar Stadium. Second game of my sophomore year, my first game to start on varsity. We played Scarborough and beat them. I don’t even know if that HS still exists. I remember our star CB tearing his knee up in the first half and wailing as they put him on a stretcher. It was traumatic for a 15 year old. Not as traumatic as watching Javonne Shepherd choose a hat, but traumatic nonetheless.
It’s still there. I graduated from Scarborough over 40 years ago and it was all white then. The demographics of that area have changed significantly.
Surprised Delmar still exists.
