  1. Well, we agree. And I haven't, nor has any Baylor grad I know. So...

Putting up banners wanting Briles to stay and reading Baylor board where the majority wanted everyone to just overlook what the players did and making excuses such as the victims were lying etc was some of the most disgusting reading I’ve ever seen.

Those are your brethren and that is condoning rape without coming out and saying it directly...

  2. Keep it classy. Personally I think most adults don't find rape funny, nor mature to joke about.

And I think most adults don’t condone rape and the people who both commit and cover up rape like you Baylor faithful

  3. I've been around here for years and never knew the shoes were such a big deal to you people.

I never knew that raping women were such a popular deal with you people until Briles...

  4. I pretty much agree with that regarding Penny. I didn’t watch it for a long time because I thought it would be just another gory, horror show. Horror is not my favorite genre but it was much more than that.

Penny Dreadful and The Frankenstein Chronicles were two of the biggest pleasant surprises ever in my TV viewing...

I'm not drinking the Kool Aid like I used to. Last summer's hype and then the Maryland debacle left me so deflated that I'm keeping myself grounded this summer and taking more of a wait and see approach. But 8 wins is the absolute floor for our expected growth towards becoming a powerhouse again. We should easily get that and a bowl victory.

    And FCB.

    And Fuck ou.

Um, you'll drink the Kool Aid and like it...

Hopefully this will be the end of the stupid Reagor Dykes/Tony Romo commercials...

lmao, seems out of character for bart to go off on someone...

A declaration from a Ford Credit regional manager states that while informing Reagor via a phone call Saturday of the amount the dealer owed and irregularities found in the audit, Reagor made a violent threat toward the manager, which was reported to corporate. The dealership has since agreed to comply with most of Ford’s investigations, states the documents, but Ford filed an order to further ensure their inquiries are not threatened or tampered with.

The o-line is always the key....

When they suck so will your RB's and QB's.

Joe Montana and Ricky Williams would have sucked behind the o-lines we have put on the field the last several years.

this is one of those things that never ceases to amaze me. everyone, who has any knowledge of football at all, knows this to be sacrosanct.  yet pro and college coaches and personnel people still refuse to address this obvious tenant that you must have a good OL and DL to be successful, there are very few exceptions.

a good OL makes the rest of your offensive personnel better.  give any spare pro QB all day to throw and they can all pick you apart, any average RB can run though gaping holes for 100 yards. conversely, when you have a good DL then your CB's cover better because they have to cover for a shorter period of time, and your LB's make more tackles because the DL has tied up the OL of the offense.

why texas has allowed this dearth of having good OL players go on for so long is beyond me.  you build from the lines out, not the other way around.

if anyone here would like some more painfully obvious football takes just PM me and i'll send you my Paypal info and you can sign up for my newsletter, first week free...

  8. Sorry guys. It was a good series, I will give it that. But top 5 or 10 all time? Not even close. Only if that particular genre is in your wheelhouse. AND you enjoy/allow the rehashing of the Italian Hollywood stereotype that has been beat to death since The Godfather came out was it anything but pretty good.
Now, Big G was the real deal. And we lost a fine actor when he passed. But as far as I’m concerned. It was him, and no one else that gave the show life.

What's the point of the illegible NY or that weird roundish little football? And the old one at least references their mascot.

You thought the green one was the original and it isn’t. It also sucks. They should stick with the original that broadway joe won the big one with.

so really you're saying you hate them because they are good at golf

i didn't say i hate them i said i find them annoying.  so if people are good at something you cant find them annoying? being good has nothing to do with it. i love jordan and he is better than all four of them.  i also didn't say they weren't good people i just said they do things that annoy me and to the extent that i don't root for any of them...

  11. Why are they annoying?

Simpson - hate his swing and anyone who uses long or longish half cheating putters.

Johnson - stupid white sunglasses worn even when dark and terrible shirts. Just annoying in general.

Kuchar - goofball and annoying chants.

Dechambeau - stupid golf bits with his clubs, hats, compasses, putter etc

Fair enough but he’s been pretty humble and not going off kilter in his time in the nfl. He’s no Jim McMahon

I’m willing to let you continue to slobber all over Mayfield balls but you are going to have to stop calling him humble. There isn’t one humble bone in his body. He is the antithesis of humble.

Texting media members bragging about being drafted high, planting the OU flag in opposing teams fields, grabbing his crotch looking at other teams sidelines,

Talks so much shit that during their defeat to Georgia you had their players telling him he needed to humble himself.

The same game where he didn’t bother flying back home with his teammates. Instead he decided to hire a camera crew and make a bio doc about himself.

Bragging about his combine numbers on NFL live so much that analysts were questioning whether the risk-reward was worth drafting him.

Coming out with his own absurd clothing line and laughable logo.

We can argue about whether he will last in the NFL but there is no argument regarding if he is humble or not. Jim McMahon is the perfect comparison for Mayfield, two of the biggest douchebags of all time
