  1. I think he’s softened just a touch on how he talks about Turntine vs the field. Hasn’t backed off his rating but now says things like “all of these guys are tremendous” and won’t say he clearly has more upside than guys like Ojo, Lee, and Greene.
  2. I think blake just gave a hi
  3. Comical
  4. Wasn’t Smith Orogbo a borderline 5 star last year at 215 lb and Quinn is around 230lb?
  5. Skimmed the Georgia St. box scored just now. Looks like mostly 2B last year with some RF and DH mixed in. And batted in the 1-2 spots.
  6. Epic short rib hummas
  7. Someone ran a train without consent. More like on3some, amirite?
  8. Stockton pinged one in to beat Oklahoma St in 98, I think.
  9. I’m convinced Xavier Griffin has given a silent pledge to Texas. Shortly after he decommited from USC Gerry said Texas got a Hi but he wasn’t ready to officially report it and didn’t consider it firm enough. Ever since then when asked about the number of Hi’s he’s always given a range. “More than one”. “2-3”. “More than one but less than four”. Etc… He also said something like Texas is in a good position for him and will feel even better after this weekend.
  10. Haha yep, but best I had.
  11. From 🤟 to 🤘
  12. Yep, I was thinking the same thing. He should have gone lefty only even before the injury.
  13. Sweet. Can’t wait to underutilize him 🤘
  14. I went back and did some old ones. Missed a square because Brooks Robinson never had a 100 run season. How is that possible? 23 season hall of famer. 18 time all star, one mvp, usually hit 2nd or 3rd. What the hell.

  16. I like Blake and love any baseball coverage we can get, but I often find his “inside information” either unnecessarily vague or frustratingly evasive. I have no problem reading between the lines whenever Bobby or Gerry speak in code, but when he does I’m usually left scratching my chin. ———————- Blake Munroe Posted 19 minutes ago After a two round bye, the Longhorns are now set to square off against Tennessee tomorrow at 3:00 PM (SEC Network). The fact of the matter is, Texas has one goal this tournament: Stay healthy. They already won the conference and the tournament itself doesn’t really matter. The Horns just want to walk away with zero injuries and as much rest as possible before hosting a regional. — So who will pitch tomorrow against the Volunteers? That was still up in the air as of a bit ago, but don’t be surprised if the Horns go with an opener. — The portal opens on June 2nd and runs through July 1st. Look for Texas to be VERY active in the portal. After the season they’ve had so far, I’d expect a lot of success going forward. — Consider high school recruiting for 2026 to be done, at least for now. The staff feels they have a great chance to retain some of the elite talent in that class, for what it’s worth, including some names most have already penciled in as going to the draft. — I’d also expect Texas to lose players to the portal as well. As for how many, well that depends on the House settlement more than anything. There’s a solid chance that they may lose a fan favorite as well, but again, that could depend on the settlement. Just remember this down the road if it happens. You’ll instantly know who this is about if it does. — I spoke to a couple of sources I trust about Texas A&M last night. I’m told that the Aggies are expected to get rid of a couple of assistant coaches, but that Michael Earley is here to stay for at least one more year. — At the beginning of this post I said Texas isn’t too worried about the SEC Tournament, but it’s not just them that feels this way. One staff member at a highly ranked SEC school had the following to say and I had to share it with you all. ”No one gives a sh*t unless you’re A&M. It’s their only hope.”
  17. Did yall hear Gerry say there was a tentative Hi last week but he wasn’t confident enough to report it or classify it as a true Hi. It came on the same day Xavier Griffin decommited so my guess was that he may have given a silent but Gerry wasn’t buying it was over by a longshot.
  18. It’s interesting that Scruggs was the first person I heard say Finley, “may want to do his own thing” away from Texas. Yet he still feels confident in his pick for Texas while the larger trend seems to be pointing towards Notre Dame.

  20. I don’t think the Ole Miss part is right. They played last year in Death Valley and this year will be at the Grove.
  21. That’s Finley. Lott is down to us, Oregon, and maybe another.
  22. Will be interesting to see how high in weight Inoue can go. Seems like his biggest challenge will be a weight class and not necessarily an opponent.
