  1. My strategy would be act respectful on their side.  Once the game gets ugly, gloat like a mf’er as they head for the gates.  If you are into schaudenfreude, you might have great seats.  I sat amongst a lot of Michigan and USC fans at the Rosebowls and drank heavily of their tears as VY turned their arrogance into stunned defeat.

  2. Amazing story and a testament to those who saw the potential.  I guess that would be Drayton.  I thought I remembered his offer list was better than it was.  Other than TT, it was UTSA, Colorado State etc.

Kid looked like a beast every time he got a chance to play but that was usually against gassed defenses before this year.

Really proud to call him a Longhorn.

LOL. While some of y'all have been clowning Sark ever since UT hired him by calling him "7-win Steve", I just found out the national CFB talking heads on the Cover 3 Podcast call him "Big Game Sark".

Let’s not get ahead of ourself.  He’s still a couple wins away from deserving his “7-win Steve” moniker.

Seriously though, it’s a great story thus far. From the ups and downs of his career and off the field issues, he’s weathered the pressure to win immediately and built the program the right way.  I hope a recipe for long term success.

    Pics?

It ain’t pretty yet.  I’m doing it all in a single garage stall including paint.  It’s been a long process.  Had the car since college about 1993.  Started tearing it down years ago.  Stripped to bare metal.  Replaced most of both floor pans, both quarter panels and most of trunk floor.  Taken off frame.  I painted the BC/CC last winter but hadn’t buffed it out yet.  So that’s what I’m doing now.  Doors, hood and trunk lid still need to be painted.  Interior has knock off dynamat.  New AAW wiring harness is partly in.  Engine was rebuilt a few years ago with very few miles.  350 block, Edelbrock heads, lunati cam.  Trans is just a turbo 350 automatic.  Hope to get my painting done before it gets cold and do a lot of assembly this winter.  IMG_2329.thumb.jpeg.953277575221ff467e84774c45104c30.jpeg
The plastic hanging from the ceiling is from when I painted it over the winter.  Ghetto paint booth.  Very little debris in the paint but a decent amount of orange peel that I had to flatten.   Sorry I don’t have any better pics.
But I do have a pic of my 86 Grand National that I also painted 15+ years ago:

Here is my old girl. I am probably going with black primer over the winter.

Ever thought of a wrap?  Could make it look pretty nice overnight.
I love Chevelles btw.  I’m restoring a 67 convertible Malibu.

Back to the bull running wild video. If this is ever a still photo of you, well then you've lived a hell of a life, friend.
