This is an odd tipping point. Grab ‘em by the pussy didn’t move the needle?

Pretty much yes. Rape, lying, dementia, failed businessman, narcissism, all that wasn't enough to overcome abortion. Dog killing is.

    two things:

    1) Judge: Well Donnie, I guess we will be having court that day after all.

    2) they think they can win Minnesota because of all the Muslims protesting Israel/Biden.

The judge never explicitly warned Trump he would be jailed if he did it again until the hearing on the nine contempt charges. The judge then spent time saying what was appropriate and what was not, so there would be no mistake about what he expected.   This is all a precursor to the inevitable jail time, but was absolutely necessary to remove multiple avenues of appeal.

I’ve already explained that there were contempt allegations brought before the judge told Trump what he could and could not do - and that he would be jailed if he did it again.  Today’s contempt allegations could not be considered in jailing him because they were all turned in before Trump was warned by the judge and told in detail what would not be allowed.

Your post where the judge tells Trump three times do it again and you are  going to jail - and then doesn’t - is bullshit.  Just don’t make up stuff about the trial.  Others read this thread for actual news.

I will bet a C-Note right now that Trump gets jailed before this thing is over. Feel free to accept. Loser donates to Surly.

If by "this thing" you mean the current trial, and "gets jailed" as spending a single night in jail, I'll take that bet.

Guilty, not guilty, hung jury, mistrial, whatever, I'm betting you 100$ (loser donates the money to surly) that dOTard does not end up in jail.

I guess if he dies on the shitter before the trial ends, the bet is a push. Imma gets nothing in that case.

As amusing as it would be to see, him spending a little time in jail would do wonders for his campaign. He’d rake in millions on day one.   It would fire up his base like nothing else has before, and they would see it as proof of his persecution.  He’s probably already got a bunch of pre-written tweets for someone else to post on his behalf just for the occasion.

Good points, all. Now, allow me to retort:

A weekend in jail just might kill him.

This may be Trump’s greatest contribution to our society.  Its like a progressive tax on being stupid.  The stupider you are, the greater the tax becomes in relation to your means.

    Its like the lottery

Both my kids ended up getting capped at UT for their preferred degrees, and went to St. Ed’s instead.  I gotta say the view from that campus is fantastic as well.

I lived a few blocks from St Eds while in high school. Swam in its pool for swim practice more than a few times. Used the track quite a bit as well.

It really is a nice campus with a view.

I'd be curious to see when people think conservatism veered away from small government, state's rights, individual freedoms, etc.

I would say that in my political lifetime, other than some token lip service, conservatism has never been about those things.

If these fucks sit out the election and dotard wins, I hope he reinstates their previously cancelled student loans and applies a 25% per month no payment penalty on the balance

The students protesting and threatening to not vote for Biden aren't yet paying student loans, so they are not benefitting from the loan forgiveness that Biden has been pushing.

It is absolutely this simple.  Now the rich folks need some block of poor/middle class folks to vote against their best interests and this group of morons is who they have.  There's a reason so many billionaires were like fuck no to trump, then when it became apparent he was the guy, several jumped on board.  I'm actually more shocked by the number of rich folks this clown has lost.

Koch assholes: google is your friend

The billionaires who are jumping on board are doing so for one reason: They know that if they don't jump on board, and The DoTARd wins, he will go after them. Just like he's said he will.

Not to be one of 'those people,' but if your opponents don't score and you also don't score, you don't win. The game is a tie. Okay, maybe it's fun to be one of those people.

Has there ever been a game, since the invention of the line of scrimmage, that ended in a 0-0 tie?

Because I feel pretty good making the statement, "If you can hold your opponent to zero points, you will win the game." The number of times that statement ends up not being true is insignificant.
