Wilson Contreras just pulled a hamstring. If this had happened 4 days ago the Cubs probably wouldn't have traded us machete.
Good thing Jonathan Lucroy is available.

Sanchez needs to talk to Nolan Ryan about the blisters issue. He used pickle brine to toughen the skin and then a surgical scalpel to shave off excess skin.
If that doesn't work, Moises Alou has some suggestions.

Did @Katfid54 finally get a job or am I imagining his lack of involvement lately.
He got lost.
All these sites look the same to him.

Wasn't the issue with CFM that we were willing to offer 2 years but TB gave him 3 years?

I'm surprised we haven't seen more WW1 movies the last few years since we have been having 100 year anniversaries since 1914.
With our country's 250th birthday coming up, I hope to see some Revolutionary War and Founding Fathers movies.

Nope, you arrived for the last 15 minutes of greatness.

He wins because we cannot read his witticisms.

It was a teaser....they said Astros, Rays and Yankees are after Wheeler.
-
MLB Network went to commercial break suggesting Wheeler was on the move.

First time poster, long time reader. I'm looking for a forum to get inside - intelligent recruiting updates. A place friendly enough for me to feel like there are no such things as stupid questions. Have I found it?
There are no stupid questions.
Just stupid people who ask questions.

Mack was the OC at OU in 1984 and had a good relationship with Switzer. In fact, Brown had a lot of stories about things he learned from Switzer.
So no, I don't think Brown had quite the proper hatred for Oklahoma that he should have had.

I thought we were gonna score in every inning the rest of the season with this lineup.
WTFUmp had a wide strike zone.
They will adjust.

Maryland was the first game of the year. If we played them later we would have won.
If our defense is able to gel in time to win the early games against LSU and OU, we will not lose to both TCU and Iowa State unless Sam gets injured.

Fuck Chip Brown
If we beat LSU and OU, we are not going to lose to both TCU and Iowa State.
Fuck Chip Brown

With possible pregame fireworks since the trade deadline is 4pm ET, three hours before game time.

It's about time for the new Attorney General to get de-briefed.

May have something to do with the fact he's almost 10 years beyond mandatory retirement. They tend not to let almost-70 year olds be Captains, let alone 2-stars.
He would be an almost-60 year old.....and it's the movies.

If an officer goes 30 some years without a promotion, wouldn't he have been run out of the Navy by then?
Who said he has gone 30 years without a promotion?
He just hasn't been promoted as much as he should have been, and probably hit his ceiling at captain.
According to The Navy Officer Ranking a Captain (where Maverick is currently) is three levels above Lieutenant (where Maverick was in Top Gun).
A 2 star Admiral is two levels above Captain.
So instead of being promoted 5 times, he has just been promoted 3 times.....assuming he hasn't been demoted at any time.

if david eckstein, trump, and hillary were in the batters box, but you only have two baseballs...
fify
And the only correct answer remains....You hit Eckstein twice.

Interesting that the two lefties in the lineup are back to back.

I wish Morgan could have spent his entire career with the Astros.
His averages for the first 6 years with the Reds (1972-1977)
R - 113, HR - 22, RBI - 84, SB - 60, BB - 118, BA - .302, OBP - .430, OPS - .926
Probably the best 6 year period for any 2nd Basemen except for Rogers Hornsby.
