The sun will still be blacked out with cloud cover, people do realize that-no?  But the school and traffic logistics shitshow...we're gonna stay back in town.  But of course, now Moody Amphitheater is indicating that maybe Vampire Weekend can't go on after all for safety reasons (it's kinda weatherproof, but not really if it rains).  Same with Long Center.  I dunno.  It's gonna be cool either way and no matter what any of choose to do or not do, the Gods are Angry that day my friends.  Like an old man trying to send back soup a deli.

    wat

    where you see this?

So the iPhone issue is due to the new rendering in safari. Apple devs are incompetent I’ve had it happen on a bunch of sites. Especially text heavy ones.

i’m having the same issue with chrome on ios/ipados. actually seems like it’s worse.

  3. ours was completed nov 2020 and started developing cracks around late august 2023. the builder mentioned possibility of asr. his insurance company is involved now but this shit is slow going. really not looking forward to possibility of having this thing ripped out and rebuilt. the first time was shitty enough.

There’s an update I can install tonight to see if that fixes something. I’ll clear out some caches while I’m doing that upgrade as well hopefully that solves the issue.

still no go for me on mobile safari or chrome on both iphone and ipad 🤷🏽‍♂️

  5. faithful ipad safari user here. something’s been fucky with both the swipe left and back button on the browser lately. sometimes works as normal, sometimes it just kind of hangs there for a second and reloads the same page. been happening bout two weeks now 🤷🏽‍♂️

Sorry to just butt into your business but my wife has Crohn’s and fought it like a Mfer from age 20 to about 35. She ended up with 2 resections, Remicade and all that and was still flaring up. She ended up controlling it with diet. She popped up allergic to all sorts of common food - gluten, dairy, etc. She cut that out and has been pretty good ever since. No more drugs or flare ups.

    all good my dude.

my kiddo ended up having a diverting ileostomy done in the fall to give her meds a better chance of working. plan to take it down within 6 months assuming the meds start to finally do something. we tried controlling by diet, but a teenager is gonna do teenage things so it wasn’t successful. i’m hoping as she gets older, she’ll get wiser and give diet change real effort.

Random worthless thought. If X is successful in spite of all probability, likelihood and gravitational force, and then goes public, they can't have the ticker signal X because that belongs to US Steel on the NYSE and NASDAQ requires at least 2 letters. Sorry Xelon.

the ticker symbol associated with company US Steel will be affiliated with X Corp. accordingly, your ticker symbol will be changed to a new ticker symbol.

however, we appreciate your loyalty and want to minimize any inconvenience this may cause. at this time we will be changing your ticker symbol to twtr.

    best regards,

Is the money really that much better than these guys could get from MLS that they're agreeing to live in Saudi?  Especially considering how much they've already earned in their careers?  I don't get it.

here’s a pretty good explanation of the money structure in MLS. the constant expansion of the league and the salary rules are going to hamstring MLS from ever catching up to the big boys and that’s before you even consider the lack of euro tournaments and inter league play here. basically we’ll never be able to pay most of these guys enough to consider MLS over saudi.

I can beat that. I have to take a drug 2x a year that costs $60k a pop, so $120k a year, according to my insurance EOB.

Oops you said $40k a month or $480k a year. You win.

I take Remicade for my auto-immune issues (ankylosing spondylitis and UC) which runs about $9k each 7 weeks, but the immunotherapy drug Opdivo run $25k every 2 weeks.  Oof.  Thanks Anthem Blue Cross.

said this on the prescription thread, but we were running neck and neck with bruin for a while. my 16 yr old has crohn’s and was taking $30k dose of stelara every two weeks for over a year. we’ve recently moved on to 1x stelara ($30k) and 1x entyvio ($10k) per month. you’re welcome, united healthcare.

she’ll be doing yet another scope next month ahead of changing out entyvio for rinvoq. one of these days we’ll get this poor child into remission.

    keep soldiering on my dudes.
