  1. If Campbell can beat OU in the Big 12 Title Game and win the ConferenceĀ (and that's a big if), then I think he's the most logicalĀ choice. Winning the Big 12 Conference is, and has always been, the standard; and step one to achieving the loftier goalĀ of playing in the CFP. If CampbellĀ demonstrates the ability win the Conference, with Recruiting Classes averaging in the 50's no less, then I think there is a very compelling story to sell recruits and the fan base.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā

  2. This season was always going to have an asterisk by it because of this. I miss real college ball but Iā€™ve pairs very little attention to this season and donā€™t feel like Iā€™m missing anything at all.
Lighten up, Francis. There is plenty of good college football being played. Clemson/Notre Dame, Ohio State/Indiana, TX/OU (fuck TH) and plenty of other really entertaining games. Hell, last weeks Tulsa vs Tulane game was fun as hell to watch.

  3. Not Knox, but the armchair epidimeologists on this site crack me up!Ā  Masks don't work, herd immunityĀ  isĀ  here, the virus is just likeĀ  the flu!
    Ā
Meanwhile we're headed to 400k dead, economy is in the shitter, no vaccine in sight, but everything is awesome.Ā  Get your heads out of your ass and figure out how to live until summer 2020 with restrictions.Ā  The state government of Texas recognizes this as they are going to continue to suspend the open meetings act rules requiring in person meetings for political subdivisions at least past the end of the year.
If you buy the bullshit that we're on the downswing and not just in another cycle, I don't know what to tell you.
    Lighten up Francis.

Superstar, ha! The reason this thread is so popular is the same reason the aggie thread is so popular on the football board - it's always good for a laugh. She's a buffoon with zero self-awareness. She truly believes she's the smartest person in the room and does not acknowledge her lack of experience, lack of understanding of basic U.S. civics, and lack of understanding of basic economic principles.Ā

She has great twitter game though, and nice tits. Subscribed!

lol why even have a democratic government?Ā  These guys obviously know better than the masses of dumpster lice (as Johnny Sack likes to call them).

Michael Dell, though imperfect,Ā has improved the lives ofĀ literally millions of people through his business endeavors and foundation. You might want to focus your disdain elsewhere, because he isĀ undeserving...Ā

you should probably seek some other perspectivesļ»æ

What perspectives can explain or justify the totalĀ economic collapse and resulting humanitarian crisis the Chavez / Maduro regimes haveĀ delivered for theĀ citizens of Venezuela?Ā Truly an epic failure. It's time for change. This decision may be politically expedient for the President, but it is the right call.

  7. NO hasn't been the same since Katrina. It's still a great city and I've got people who still live there (albeit in all these "war zones" being discussed) but I feel sorry for the people who didn't go before the hurricane. Really fun city if you know people and the food is exceptional.
But honestly, the best food I ate there came from people's kitchens and that was even after going to places like Emerald's.
This is a really bad take. Have you been to NOLA lately? The city is experiencing a post-Katrina renaissance driven by small business and a "creative" economy.

There are tons of new shops, galleries, restaurants, coffee bars, yoga studios, and on and on. The city is attracting tech and environmental start-ups (unheard of before Katrina) as a result of a concerted effort by Tulane and Idea Village to do so.

I live in Austin, but travel to the Big Easy, at least 4 time a year to visit friends and family and fish. Look the city has its warts, crime and poverty through the roof (as was the case pte-Katrina), but trust me the city is hopping and you should probably reevaluate things if you cant have a great time down there.

  8. That's why I'm hoping we get Utah or Arizona St in the Alamo.Ā  Or Colorado.
Jesus H. Christ, I must be taking crazy pills. Um yeah let's play Utah or Arizone St in the Alamodome, that would be WAYY better than Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, in New Orleans on New Years Day.

    Fucking Idiot. Post less.

  9. Boy, the honks are out and feeling their oats today. Good for them. Ehlinger played a solid game. I hope he keeps it up. Iā€™m as stunned as anyone that Fat Patty didnā€™t coach circles around Hermeh. Iā€™m relatively optimistic now that I Am Sam has looked basically average in two straight games.Ā
Jesus, your insufferable. "Basically average" LOL WUT? Give credit where credit is due. Sam has a long way to go, but he's playing well and doing what most on this forum believe was the most important thing he needed to do to step up his game and help this team win more games...take care of the football.

I feel sorry for all you Debbie Downers. DKR was rocking yesterday, there's an energy and optimism about this team not felt in quite some time. The corner may or may not have been turned, but the last two weeks have been fun. Lighten up and enjoy the ride.
