It sits quite a bit here in DFW.
But over Blanton's,
I would choose
Jack Daniels Barrel Proof Single Barrel's
Russell's Reserve Single Barrel
Knob Creek SiB's
Four Roses Barrel Strengthmakers mark puts out quality product that i like over four roses but otherwise cant argue with that list.

Blanton’s has never been a GOAT. It used to sit and collect dust at $46 ten years ago.
everything sat and collected dust 10 years ago.

So many more bottles that are better, cheaper, and a hell of a lot easier to find.name a few. i probably wont argue, but back in the day blantons was the goat of every day drinkers/always on the shelf. there are about 50 unicorns i'd rather have than blantons, but i cant think of a bottle on the shelf every day today that i'd rather have. as far as trade bait goes, that must mean people have stockpiled, because it's still pretty sought after.

is there a depth chart out? i dont see it posted on ut athletics site.

As a side note…I did almost break down and buy the Stagg. I haven’t seen it anywhere else. But I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. It’s the principle of the matter.$200 for Stagg jr is about the norm. Seemed to be the best price up there

So let me see if I got this straight. We lost our first volleyball and soccer game?

One of my favorites to take an out of stater/foreigner. Amazing how many people don't realize that there are in fact Mexicans in a town that is 160 miles from Mexican and is named San Antonio. They're also usually pretty shocked at the honor system when it's time to pay.
Dang like a week later and it would have been a perfect moment to have them float in San Marcos and they'd never want to go home.
imo, san antonio is up there with new orleans and santa fe as having the most unique culture and feel of any american city. mi tierra, the mercado. so many places where you could think you were in a foreign country.

Loved it! I look forward to more hijinks from the eyesquid. Reminded me of The Thing when it emerged from the cat's face.
The alien slaughtering everyone in a matter of seconds made me laugh. The only way to fight them is through controlled containment.
As far as commercials Im subscribed to the disney+ package and dont have to deal with that bullshit.
i thought it was excellent. looking forward to the season.

Anything good and new out?
I am busting at the seams with bourbon. bottles overflowing shelves, cabinets, tables, on the floor and everywhere. been trying to drink faster than i buy but losing that battle. last two bottles i killed were an ezra 7 and a larceny store pick. both serviceable but not noteworthy. last two bottles i was impressed with were a rebecca creek spanish oak, a peerless double oak. i also swore off bardstown so trying to plow through those. last one i killed was one of the early discovery or fusion (cant remember which or the number). it was so good i'm second guessing killing the rest of them.

Spent the weekend down on the riverwalk for a friend’s bday. I thought Mezquite was really good. Tokyo Cowboy was okay but the Tiki bar downstairs was a lot of fun. Pinkerton’s was good for lunch and only a 20 minute wait.
i heard good things about mezquite but checked out the menu and just didnt get it. i'll probably do isidore first, next time i'm in the area. last time i was at the pearl we tried best quality daughter. cant give it high enough praise. she is knocking it out of the park. outstanding cocktails and food - really creative, really unique, unbelievably impressive.

Foods been pretty bad for a while
in the mid 2000's there was a high end place there but cant remember the name of it. had many a good meal. nice view, every course was excellent. it had a little southwestern flare, like chile powder rubbed ribeye, etc.

Kamilla is every bit the strategist that Kyle is. It's why they work so well together. Kyle ended up in the more public role of being in the big and strong alliance because he is big and strong, but it would be a mistake to discount the game Kamilla has played. I hope one of them wins.
if they both make the final three, kyle still wins. shes his behind the scenes partner but that still means he was doing most of the work and more deserving of the win. her role is to keep quiet, be sheepish, and pretend she's not in an alliance.

kyle is the new frontrunner. joe has done nothing but win challenges (and be likable, which is something). not smart enough to strategize. shauhin was the only one close to strategizing like kyle.

^^^ 2 idols, if IIRC.
Mary put up the best fight she could and managed to get fairly far in the game. I'm good with Eva, Joe, Mitch or Kyle. The other 2 not so much.
kamilla has played the most interesting game i think ive ever seen. on the surface its poor me, i'm not in an alliance, i'm on the bottom, but in reality she has orchestrated move after move. i dont think she'll win. theyve kept her around only because they dont realize shes a threat, but if she ends up in the final three shes going to kick their ass.

The wife and I are moving to an apartment a stone's throw from Brackendridge Park. Seems to be a nice older area, and the manager pointed out we will be within walking distance to "the Pearl district." Anybody know of good spots to eat near Brackenridge Park?
tycoon flats
smoke shack
la fonda
cappys
sams
cullums
a million places at the pearl

Agreed. I guess the others are content with finishing 3rd or worse.
I was 90% sure it was joe. what a bunch of dumbasses. they may never get a better chance. if eva gets any wind of it she will play her idol on him. they had her hoodwinked perfectly. my prediction is kyle and kamilla call the next vote. mitch, and joe or shahin get looped in to blindside the other. one of those two have to go next.

Clark came in the more heralded back, but Simon looked much better to me too. I feel good about the RB's. We can win the NC with this group. We can win the NC with this defense, TE's, punter, kicker, and return game. We can win the NC with this OL (maybe). We just need Sark to call better plays and Arch to stop throwing at people's feet.
