It didn't feel out of reach until the onsides kick.

there wouldnt have been an onsides kick without the offsides call.  we were down by 4 and getting the ball back.  that was the turning point in the game.

  2. he's not just a whiny bitch he's also full of shit.  i saw him post some crap after the game about how players come to georgia to hit, alluding to them coming to texas for a check.  as if georgia isnt playing players and doesnt have a huge nil outlay.  he's a douche.

Just this Saturday (they are only open for pickup from 12-6 on SAturdays) I went to Woodchuck firewood, which is where the old Harley's firewood was at Anderson Mill and 183.  I'd get there early.  When I got there, they were all out of oak, but had plenty of nice cured split pecan (I grabbed a 2x4 stack for $80).  I'll use it for my smoker and my fireplace, so it's all good.

relieved to hear the old harvey's spot is still a wood yard.  i was wondering what i was going to do.  i dont have a smoker but probably have enough wood for 5-10 fires and that's where i've always bought my firewood.

  4. there goes the most likable player that was left.  combined with nate leaving last week, there are only the snakes left. rizzo and soph seem to be the least strategic so guessing they're high up on the target list for next week.

There is an enormous amount of significance to this game. Texas wins and suddenly everything becomes very possible. If we lose are we doomed? No but now we pretty much have to beat A&M to even have a shot.

But think of what a win might mean.

you keep repeating what i already disagreed with.  a win solidifies a cfp berth.  except if we follow that up with a loss to arkie next week.  then we're right back where we are now - on the bubble.  you could argue that all three games have enormous significance.

The whole season can turn on this one game.

If Texas wins it, everything opens up for them.

Not optimistic but at least we got this deep in the season with this kind of opportunity.

not sure if i agree that there is that much significance to this game but it would be a nice monkey off our back.  lost three games last year and two were to these fuckwads.  you cant say a win opens up everything, when a loss next week to arkie puts us right back on the bubble.  we just need to win, thats all there is to it.  i have a little optimism, as this team seems to play to their opponents level.  arch is coming on, OL is coming on, DL is coming on, secondary is on vacation.  this would be a nice win.

  7. i'm not finding this season too boring or bad.   and there are some likable players - mc for one.  i liked nate but he was a little passive.  surprised they voted him off because of that but i guess its all about the hina-uli rivalry.  sage and jawan are batshit crazy and need to go next.  savannah is the snakiest so high on the list also.

looks like i'll miss the finale tonight because of the youtube/disney bullshit.  cool.

that was the best episode of the season.  loved it. seems like a good chunk of it filmed at the philbrook.  was nice to see the douchebag governor come around. agreed with the poster above that dinklage was outstanding in his role.

I was happy to see Shannon go, but at least she was attempting to play the game.

telling every single tribe member i want to work with you, and i feel a connection with you is the opposite of attempting to play the game.  it is attempting to get voted out at the next tribal.

Paul McCartney said that "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys is the greatest song ever written, but I guess he doesn't know much about music.

he also thought love me do was a great song.  so theres that.

Brian Wilson is dead, there is no more Beach Boys

Dennis was the only one that surfed.  Brian was a poser.  Not a fan so compare it to Rick Springfield after the Florida game last year.  Cringeworthy.

Watch the play instead of looking a still from the zapruder film. It’s not a helmet to helmet hit.

you are quite wrong.  it was definitely targetting.  manning was on the ground, defenseless, and hit on his helmet with the crown of another helmet.  targetting.

And im reminded of the teaching opportunity that Buffalo Trace has zero ownership of mashbill #2 and all of its expressions.

is this really relevant though?  since buffalo trace is owned by sazerac they technically have zero ownership of everything they make.  i cant remember the back story exactly.  when age bought the distillery from schenker (was it?) and then sold it to sazerac they kept ownership of all the brands made by mashbill #2?

but back to the relevancy.  if you owned a rembrandt would you take a sharpie and draw a penis on it?  its a masterpiece and remains unchanged through the years.  mashbill #2 came from george t staggs distillery, i'm guessing invented somewhere in those years (maybe by him?).  have any of the owners ever changed it?  obviously wheatley cant (without japanese approval), but i would guess it's never changed, so what difference does it make who owns it?
