Here was my other purchase today. Liked the red bottle when it was out last time.

women think i'm tasty, but they're always trying to waste me.

  2. i lived in dripping in the late 90's, had 4 acres out there, but got transferred to san antone.  at that time it was dry, so we had to go to wimberley to drink.  closest liquor store was sunset valley.  it had an iga (no heb), and a true value (no home depot).  all the restaurants were terrible.  so i envy all you pricks.

It was in response to you and the idea that Texas needs to continually bring blitzes to slow the Washington offense down. I am sahying DaBoer and Penix are too good for something that simplistic. Penix threw for 5.3 yards/att vs Texas last year. That was the lowest in his 2 years at Texas. Texas managed to bottle up the Washington passing game last year, despite not registering a single sack.

i agree with this.  pressure is not the answer.  its a piece, but not the be all and end all.  pk will have to be clever and pick the moments to pressure, but coverage will be more important.  i like the idea of playing back in this game. coverage sacks mean we let the line get to him (and they will, or there will be holding penalties), and not leave a receiver open by blitzing a db or lb.

I like Hyden's placement of Street Legal at 10.  That and Oh Mercy are my favorite somewhat ignored Dylan albums.

street legal was mindblowing.  for a long time it was my favorite album.  it was totally new - nothing like anything he'd ever done, or anything anyone else had ever done.  i get blonde on blonde, hwy 60 revisited, etc are rated so high.  over the test of time, and the impact they had on music since.   i think my favorite phase was actually recent, and he still may be in it.  from 1997-2009 he released time out of mind, love and theft, modern times, and together through life.  those first three especially are really good albums and i would have to put them all in the top 5 or 10.  denny freeman, charlie sexton, augie meyers, cindy cashdollar.   great songs on there.

That's definitely the logical take, I'm just trying to figure out why they keep including his "I'm not done fighting yet!" comments over and over if there isn't some kind of payoff.

Him and Katurah are equally non-factors in the strategy, but they want us to be more sympathetic towards Jake for some reason.

these edits can be tricky.  you never know if theres some foreshadowing in there.  jake is totally taking credit for the drew vote and is delusional.  everybody but drew and austin were going to vote drew.  it was not his idea, so i agree he and katura have no shot at this point.  theyre the weakest strategically and in challenges.  i'm really pissed at dee and am interested in how remorseful she is next week.  she betrayed austin two tribals in a row, and lied about it the first time.  is she going to lie about it this time too?

  6. page 11.   thats where i had to go to get this.  dont have anything particular to say about bob but one thing i just discovered is, scrolling through 10 pages of music threads, a good chuck of those were rip threads.   its shocking and sad to see how many greats we've lost.

anyone been to the center in tulsa?  i went and thoroughly enjoyed it.  would definitely go back.  the woody guthrie next door i feel like i got everything out of there was to get, so no need to go back.  but for a dylan fan, you could spend more than a full day at his place.

reading a book now by a harvard professor, called why dylan matters.  it's pretty interesting and am enjoying it.

  7. i'm pretty new to spotify, well pay spotify anyway.  i'm loving it.  the one thing i dont like is the daily mixes, which arent so daily for one thing, but mainly they are pretty much just liked songs.  i want to hear something new.  i already have a liked songs playlist, so why do i need them again on daily mix 1, daily mix 2, etc?

one of the cool features i'm digging is once you find an artist you like you can really do some deep diving.  they list tour dates, discography, and playlists that they've submitted of songs that they like.   i find those to  be excellent ways to hear new music.

  8. she wouldnt even make eye contact with him.   i'm interested in how he reacts, or if he even figures it out.  he could be naive and stay naive.   him telling her last week totally screwed up the whole tribe, and her not telling him this week totally screwed up the whole tribe.   i'd say one of those two need to be gone next.  showmance's always need to be broken up as early as possible.

Maybe I missed something but didn’t they all know that Austin had given Julie the idol?  Counting on her to not play the it, particularly after the beans were spilled, was dumb.

they knew she had an idol, but they were 100% sure it was a blindside.  dee has made herself vulnerable by divulging the plan.  she fucked everyone for the sake or herself and her friend.  she even fucked austin, who is supposedly her other #1.   he didnt have to tell her but he did not to betray her trust, and she turned around and betrayed his trust.

Pretty sure Bruce had the vote for Julie.

that would make since he was the only one out of the loop. emily did a great job of selling it by saying if julie isnt gone tonight i'm dead.  great line.   the thing is the julie blindside was a brilliant idea, and would have earned shakura and emily tons of jury cred.   they are right, if she makes the final she wins.  everybody loves her.  as it is now they might have missed their chance.  i have a feeling her spidey senses are now on alert.

  11. i dont believe its a stretch to say arrogance and cockiness is a thing with bruce, even outside survivor.  they did a good job of making him feel safe.   who was the one person that voted for julie?  nobody likes seeing their name so there's going to be some fallout.  blindsiding julie was actually shakura's idea, and had some merit.  emily took the ball and ran with it, or at least so it seemed, but was voting bruce all along. i wonder if julie finds out emily and shakura were throwing her name out there.

  12. went to billy's on burnet tonight.  fantastic burger.  better than dirtys, crown and anchor, and probably even jewboy.  great oldschool roadside burger.  first time there and i lived in the hood for awhile.   i guess ive lived a sheltered life.

Very solid. Definitely a B+ so far. Not hot at all.

what did that set you back?  standard old overholt was always one of the bargains out there.  way underpriced.

Thinking about heading here at end of year. Is six nights too long? Also, any recs on good places to stay.

    Gracias amigos.

why?  6 nights seems kind of long.   i was there for 3.  in a way i could have stayed longer - spent a day at monte alban and another day at mitla, so left one day for kicking around town, and maybe two days in town might have felt better.  lots of restaurants, the birthplace of mole, mezcal, chocolate, silver.  theres some coolness to the place for sure.
