  1. The next time there is even a remote chance that the two teams could end up in the same bowl, CDC needs to hold a press conference and publicly state that Texas wants to play the aggies. Just straight up call them out and make them answer, once and for all and not hide behind the SEC selection process or not provide any reason why it didn't happen. Just straight up call them out on the national stage and say, "we are ready, we will work with our conference commissioner to juggle any scenario that puts us in the same game".

It just gets tiring to listen to the drivel that Texas was afraid to play them when all evidence points to the contrary.

    ANSWER: Electric Bike

You cruise to work (without sweating) and then you actually get some exercise riding home (with sweating).

Where do you put the electric bike when you get to work? How do you get it up the elevator?

  3. This comes off as sounding like a millennial who expects that everything will be handed to them in a neat, wrapped up package with a bow that includes everything they ever wanted even though the company doesn't know a single thing about you as an employee.

Maybe after you work there for a few months and they get to know your work ethic and value they would be more open to loosening the schedule requirements.

Isn't the point of a crock pot to throw a bunch of shit in there, set it and come back 5 hours later to a complete meal? If you're going to take the time to marinate your proteins, prep all those veggies, portion out all those spices, why wouldn't you go the extra mile to prepare it traditionally so that it tastes better?

I use my instant pot to make this. The draw is using pressure cooking and not having to stew it for several hours in a crock pot. I can do an hours prep and then be eating in less than two hours.

    Where are the recipes asshole?

    Tikka Masala:

    Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 small onion chopped
    • 3 cloves garlic minced
    • 2 1- inch piece of ginger peeled and chopped
    • 2 tsp paprika
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 1 tsp ground turmeric
    • 2 tsp cumin
    • 1 tsp ground coriander
    • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper optional
    • 1/2 14 oz can diced tomatoes with juice
    • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast cut into strips
    • 1/3 cup chicken broth
    • 1 cup canned coconut milk
    • 2 tsp lemon
    • Chopped fresh basil for garnish

    Marinade

    1 cup coconut milk

    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

    1 clove minced garlic

2 inch piece of minced ginger

Combine all ingredients and add in chicken strips and marinate for 1 hour.

    Instructions

    1. For the Slow Cooker:
    2. Mix together onion, ginger, and garlic with tomatoes in a small bowl. Add in all the spices and continue to whisk until well blended. Place on the bottom of the slow cooker, add chicken on the top, then chicken broth.
    3. Set the slow cooker to low, and cook for 4 hours. Once cooking is complete, add in coconut milk. Remove chicken for a minute to shred or cut, and place back into slow cooker. If mixture is too watery, add in arrowroot starch to lemon juice. Add to slow cooker for an extra 10-15 minutes and mixture thickens. If not using arrowroot starch, add the lemon juice and serve immediately with fresh basil or cilantro. Season with salt.
    4. For the Instant Pot:
    5. Select saute on your instant pot and turn to high heat. Once pot is hot add olive oil, ginger, onion, and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes stirring until onion is translucent.
    6. Select cancel, and add all the spices to the onion mixture scraping the bottom to form a paste. Add the tomatoes, stir, then nestle the chicken on top. Pour chicken broth on top. Secure the lid.
    7. Select manual and cook on high pressure for 7 minutes.
    8. Release pressure and let simmer until desired consistency.
    9. Once cooking is complete, use a quick release. Remove the lid and chop chicken (a fork is fine since it will be nice and tender). Place chicken back into the Instant Pot.
    10. Select saute, and simmer for another 20 minutes. Add in coconut milk. If mixture is too thin, add in arrowroot starch to the lemon juice, then pour into mixture.
    11. Season with salt as needed, and once mixture is thick, serve immediately with fresh basil over rice

Fuck that. It'll be more entertaining to make small but noticeable changes that he's bound to notice upon his return home.

Put the Fibonacci Sequence on his mailbox. Fill in a Mad Lib and then transcribe it in the corner of his garage door. Put a Christmas tree on the back patio. Shit like that.

    Poke the bear.

Since I don’t live anywhere near the OP I fully support this action plan.

Another says they will get better as the season goes on.  This weekly improvement will surprise many teams towards the end of the season!

They are widely known to be strong in the months of October and November.

This Instant Pot Brisket can be made in any electric pressure cooker or even a slow cooker. In this post, I show you how to cook a tender and juicy brisket using a flavorful rub and a few other tricks that will make it incredible.
     Course Main Course
     Cuisine American
     Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 1 hour 15 minutes
     Marinade Time 8 hours
     Servings 10 servings
     Calories 1157 kcal

    Ingredients

    • 4-5 lb flat cut brisket fat cap trimmed to 1/8"

    Rub:

    • 3 1/2 tablespoons smoked paprika
    • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
    • 1 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
    • 1 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
    • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
    • 3/4 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 3/4 teaspoon ground coriander
    • 1 teaspoon oregano
    • 1/3 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    Instructions

    1. Combine spice rub ingredients in a bowl and rub over the entire surface of the brisket. Place seasoned brisket on a baking sheet, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8-12 hours.
    2. Cook per your desired cooking method below. Remove cooked brisket from the pot and place on a baking sheet. Brush with your favorite bbq sauce and place under the broiler for a few minutes or until the sauce starts to caramelize. Alternately you can finish the brisket off on the grill.

    Instant Pot Cooking:

    1. Cut brisket in half so it fits, and place 1/2 of the brisket in Instant Pot on wire trivet with the fat cap up followed by the remaining half. Add 1 cup water to the pot and set to cook at high pressure for 75 minutes. Allow a natural pressure release for at least 15 minutes and then you can manually release the rest.

    Slow Cooker:

    1. Place brisket in the slow cooker and cook for 8-9 hours on low or until tender.

It sounds bad at first blush, but remember that Herman has to think of the future. If he heaps undue praise on Elliott/Williams/Dickson/etc. and they underperform, NFL scouts will take note and trust Texas kids less. This hurts the prospects of his players in future classes. Herman has to honestly describe his kids' shortcomings to gain the trust of NFL teams.

He also has to deal with the actual repercussions of his chosen words from everyone else besides the scouts.

My question is: Where are the sportswriters out there trying to curb aggy expectations? I haven't seen anything yet. Has anyone else?   If this was UT. there would be all sorts of articles written telling Longhorn fans to curb their enthusiasm.

Its not just us that enjoys watching the roller coaster.
